We used Hector's roofing to re-roof a flat roof over bedroom area of our home. They did a highly professional job, they were efficient, kept everything clean shipshape and were polite and informative. They latex a base coat and a top coat. Looking at it, it is seamless with a nice flow. We chose the material, Seal It, by Bond It because it is inflammable and Energy Efficient. We live adjacent to the high fire area of Topanga/Malibu where wildfires are a threat. It has been a couple of weeks and with returned higher temperatures the rooms under that area of the house are noticeably cooler. I would highly recommend the product and the roofer, to anyone, with similar concerns, plus it is guaranteed for 25 years.

Just want to say a special thank you to Hectors roofing company! I had a previous company do my roof but my brother said they didn't do a good job so we called Hector's roofing to come out and check it out. They were so professional, thorough and helpful! They explained the areas that needed to get redone and the reason why. I am so grateful for them. They get the job done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. You guys are awesome!!

Called to get an estimate on a project... hector and his guy came out got measurements and told me that he would call me with the estimate. It's approaching three weeks now and I haven't heard from him at all. I don't feel like a client should have to call and remind them... this is supposed to be a company. They obviously don't care about clients whatsoever. This is a wake up call for this company to make them aware that they cannot run a business like this! Please get it together.

Watch out, This company is a rip-off. In 2015 We paid Hector's roofing about $30,000 to do all the repairs and apply plastic roofing cement with 10 years warranty. They did not do some of the bullet points in the contract. First rain, we had several leaks. Called them. Recurrently, they came and spent little time and said is fixed. Next rain the same thing, some more leaks. They did not honor their 10 years warranty. Today, we had to pay another company to do all the repairs.

I filed a formal complaint against Hector Marroquin and Hector's roofing, license # 537713.
We entered into a contract dated 05/17/17 for a new permitted roof with Hector Marroquin and Hector's roofing (see Exhibit 1 Contract). The contracted start date was 05/22/17 and the contracted end date 05/26/17. Hector Marroquin promised to have several people complete the job quickly and via contract promised a 10 year warranty on roof leaks and workmanship. The work went on for several months and never was completed correctly. He never showed us the permit for the roof as required per our contract. Hector told us roof was completed but there were visible dips where water would easily pool (see Exhibit 2 pictures) We informed Hector and he said he would redo the roof and not to worry because if anything leaked he would always repair since he gave us a 10 year warranty. We believed him and made final payment. But after several months he never came to complete. The roof has never stopped leaking and several professionals informed us the roof was done improperly and needs to be redone. We are now dealing with damaged ceilings and constant leaking that could create an unsafe environment since the businesses underneath are healthcare practices. We have made several attempts to have Hector complete the roof. Hector would not answer our phone calls or make appointments and never show up. Additionally, on April 15th, 2020 Hector sent his employee by the name of Jose Cavala. Mr. Cavala came and inspected the roof and made the statement that the work was incomplete and of poor quality. When we called to complain yet again Hector's response was he will not complete the work or repair anything and stated "" you will have to sue me"". He refused to complete the work correctly. Moreover, on April 22, 2020 we sent Hector a certified demand letter with no response. We are requesting a full refund plus damages if allowed so we can have another contractor redo the roof correctly. We have three quotes to redo the roof never completed correctly by Hector Marroquin $43,000.

I have installed Solar panels and Tesler hooked me up with this company. However, the job was good and efficient... after I paid in full, they never scheduled an inspection of the roof as it needed and I keep asking for this and after all, they never took care of the inspection nor return my call at all after several attempts and writing them. I find it is not acceptable and I suggest not to use them. They kept calling me for the remaining bill to be paid in full. After that so quiet and not even comply with anything including sending me a receipt.
Terrible service. Don't use them.
