My ""go to"" company now for any and all of my roofing needs. I first contacted them for an emergency repair. My inspection report showed damages to the roof and I needed the work finished before my tenants moved in. Joe who was very professional and thorough estimated the repair cost and quoted me a price that was better than any other bids even though Joe's estimate included even more damages that the inspector missed. He detailed all the work that was to be done on a proposal that included actual clear pictures and captions. I even wrote them a check from the wrong company on accident and they were very accommodating, understanding, and helpful in working everything out. HD Roofs is fast, honest, professional, and the only roofing company I will ever use. Doing business with this awesome roofing company has been one of the best professional experiences I ever had!

This was the most painful telephone conversation I have ever experienced trying to get an appointment to get someone to come out to look at my roof. Their photos look phenomenal and I would have used them to do my whole roof but the fact they were unable to understand simple directions over the telephone I would recommend trying someone else because if they cannot do something as simple as making an appointment how are they going to deal with a roof?

We hired Superior Roofing to replace our entire roof. From the very start, Superior Roofing was extremely easy to work with. We were completely satisfied with the work Joe and his team did. Joe was always available to talk with us, as was the front office staff. The project took 5 days to finish (big roof) but every day the outside was clean of materials and dust. I think we found 1 nail in a planter - that's pretty amazing. There was no hassle for payment - in fact it took Joe a week after the job was finished to contact us to set up a time for payment. We recently had rain, and no more leaks. If I could give this company 6 stars, I would.

We had our house tented and needed some tiles replace. I must have called 4 different roofing companies in the OC. They were all too busy to even come out and give us a quote. When I called Superior Roofing the office staff were very friendly and very professional! They were able to schedule an appointment the same week. Joe came out and gave us an very fair estimate and within a week the job was finished!! They were professional, did great work and cleaned up after themselves. I recently purchased a 1930 Spanish style home in Santa Ana that had a roof that was in terrible condition and had two active leaks. Joe came out during the escrow inspection period and provided me with a competitive quote, and offered to tarp the roof for free if I ended up going with his company for the roof replacement. His quote was $900 higher than another bid, and he went through and explained to me item by item why, and I realized he was using better quality material, and the bid included the permits. A few days later it poured rain and Joe came out again (also for free) to inspect the attic to see if there was water damage. Since we were still in escrow, I was very worried about this, and Joe was an important part of keeping the house from falling out of escrow. Then he coordinated with me to do the roof as soon as escrow closed so it could be done prior to me moving in. There was a problem with city permits because of the way the prior owner had done the roof, and Joe worked with me around the increased cost and did everything he could to honor the original estimate. He took pictures of the damage they discovered when they pulled the roof off, gave me several options about how to repair the damage, kept track of the material required to repair it, and adjusted the quote to reflect whatever they ended up not using. I was very worried about mold because of the long term leaks, and he was willing to coordinate with a mold remediation company, and ended up saving me money by doing a thorough mold check when the roof was off. He installed solar tubes for a very reasonable price, and I ended up hiring him to come back to do the rain gutters (he uses only seamless, high quality metal ones that are fabricated on site). There was one part of the garage roof flashing that wasn't done to the highest standards he demands, so he replaced it and gave me the rain gutters on the garage for free. Joe has tremendous professional integrity and wants his customers to be satisfied, and he'll go the extra mile to make sure that happens. And the most amazing part is that all of this happened during the pre-El Nino season when it was extremely difficult to find roofers to even call you back, let alone schedule work. Joe is swamped with calls but I always felt like a priority and a valued customer. I have now referred him to my godmother, who needs rain gutters. This is an honest, competent, reasonably priced roofer and a local small business owner, and I recommend him enthusiastically.

I am very satisfied with the work that Joe and his team did. I had two leaks on a questionably installed roof. After reviewing the repair estimates and photos that he provided, I decided on replacing the entire roof. There were some unexpected costs that exceeded my personal contingency, but best to do things right.

It is worth noting that the estimate is just for the roofing repair. It is near impossible to gauge how much decking or structural material is needed. In my case, there was +27% in fascia, deck boards, shiplap, and painting costs. The structure was in good condition, but most of the fascia needed replacement. The estimate has an upfront rate for these additional charges, so budget accordingly.

Total job took 5 total days. First day for demo/removal, 3 days for roofing, and the last day for permit inspection, walkthrough, and payment. For my case, no one needed to be home except to access an electrical outlet for their power tools.

Excellent! Called on the phone, appointment scheduled, printed an estimate, ready to move forward, set up date, done in 1 day, DONE! Guys cleaned up, to my standards just a little dust, 2 nails were left behind, glad I walked the premises. Boys will be boys!

Joe didn't let me pay the guys, after time I had to call and make arrangements to mail the check because he didn't have time to come get it!

No stress, no drama, great service, great price, would call them again!!!!
