HD ROOFING and SOLAR are the Jesse James of Florida, Roofing and Solars Co. They quate a price to get you in and then they do a crapy Job, causing a leak the night they complete the job, leak in the front room ceiling causing mold in rooms where the water went. Then to top it off they charge you and extremely high price for five month, after you have paid your bill in full with (CASHIERS CHECKS) another person came in and send you a bill of $3,412.00 claiming that you own them, with no reason for the extra money, If you do not pay they sue you. Have been in court (2 time) waiting for a final Court Date. The Quate was $12, 069 .00 of which the City Permite shows, but paid $14,955.70 CASHIER CHECKS. Now wanting $3,412.00 extra with no brake down for this money. Would never get HD ROOFING for a DOGHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The star rating would be (F-)

Three years ago, we believed HD Roofing was a great company to work for because of their excellent customer service and communication. However, like many companies, it appears HD is now a slave to the good ol' American dollar. If you look at the reviews on their Facebook page, you will see the positive reviews have suddenly declined!

Like other roofing companies, I believe HD is running the business model of: hire as many sales reps as possible and when they burn out, keep their commissions! Several commissions have been modified or just flat-out denied for any variety of reasons they can come up with. Be aware that your sales representative may end up working for you for free, so be kind!

To all existing customers: it seems negative reviews might get your job completed, even after the office/rep stops answering your calls. To future customers: just be aware that this company no longer cares about workmanship or customer service. They are about their bottom line only.

the job was done in great time with little effort on my part. excellent work. your agent was exceptional. his service's were totally complete with continuous check up. his name is Edward A. McNulty and he deserves high praise for the detail in the entire process from beginning to end. I couldn't be more pleased with the work done. on a scale of 1to10 he's a 10. thank you for your service.

This company HD Roofing and Solar from the Longwood office came out to my home, which I wasn't present. I did in fact speak to a Sebastian via phone and he stated that my insurance company sent him out since HD Roofing and Solar is their preferred company. Also, because I still had an open roof claim. My fiance was home remodeling the bathroom and spoke to Sebastian, which Sebastian wanted to take some measurements and my fiance agreed. After that day, I received an email with attached documents with my name signed, printed and initialed. REALLY???? I WAS STUNNED! I immediately emailed the insurance company to alarm them that this was going on. The insurance company contacted me and said they dont even know where they got my information from because they don't have any preferred roofing companies. Oh, I must add HD roofing & Solar picked out my material selection for me too, along with an Emergency Work Order for tarps, which I already have on there!!! REALLY! This Longwood HD Roofing & Solar company seems like crooks to me, where I did have a nice lady from their company contact me, before I new they were up to no good, said Sebastian and a man named Dustin came from APEX Roofing! BOOM, thats the only way they would of had or brought along my information from because APEX was going to do my roof until they dropped me for not having Law and Ordinance coverage! REALLY, is all I really have to say ;(

So many problems with their work. They didn't remove all the shingles and started laying the new shingles overtop the old ones. Then they forget the hurricane H-clips. Then it was beginning to install underlayment over rotten wood that they didn't remove. And then failing to install the flashing behind the stone where the chimney meets the shingles (they installed it in front of the stone!). So much more. Biggest insult was not cleaning up the mess. Jake was our salesmen who promised satisfaction. It's still not done!

Taking advantage of the elderly !!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company was solicited by my 85 yo elderly mother to provide an estimate for roof repairs secondary to tree damage from a storm based on a recommendation from someone she knew. When my mother selected a different roofing company to complete the work, this company attempted to intimidate her to pay a 20% cancelation fee based on a non-existing contract agreement since they had come out to take measurements, pictures, and facilitate the relaying of information to her insurance company. Not sure about how others would view this but I believe these actions would be considered standard steps for any roofing company to obtain an estimate. In addition, upon further investigation, there was no collaboration with this roofing company and my mother's insurance company except a fax of the adjuster's estimated to their office personnel. This type of unscrupulous business practices should be exposed and companies that prey on vulnerable situations and the elderly should be exposed. If anyone else has experienced this type of harassment from this company I would encourage you to report their actions on the Florida Department of Financial Services - Division of Investigative & Forensic Services - 1-800-378-0445. Fraudulent activities like this should not be tolerated and it will take all of us to stop these types of actions !!
