So yesterday I got a call from the company saying they were gonna come out to do my roof and I needed to get my solar panel removed. This morning they called to let me know for sure they were coming out and would be here about 8:30-9:00.

Two workers(the foreman Arnell and his helper)showed up exactly at 9:00 and straight to work they went.

The foreman was a really hard worker and did most of the job himself. He only got off the roof for lunch and to get more supplies because they were a little short.

They cleaned up after themselves and left my yard the same way as when they had gotten here.

I would definitely recommend this company if you're looking for a easy-going, pleasant and professional experience.

I recently was in need of a new roof for my home in Kaneohe. Never having to do this before I was kind of intimidated with the amount of companies in Honolulu. About that time a neighbor was installing a new roof by a company called Hawaiian Island Roofing Inc. I was able to talk to the job foreman and found out that he was the owner of the company Aurelio D. Juan. Later I had Aurelio give me and estimate on installing a new roof at my home.

Aurelio came to my home as scheduled, took his measurements and provided me with samples of my options. He was very knowledgeable of his product as he explained the pros and cons of roofing shingles. He also provided me with information in regards to the state of the art attic fan. A few days later I was sent a detailed estimate through e-mail with a hard copy in the mail. Following his presentation I conducted my own on line investigations of his company as well as the roofing products he was providing. I found that everything he told me in regards to the roofing product was true and that I could find no negative comments in regards to his company Hawaiian Island Roofing Inc.

With the estimate in hand I called other companies to get an estimate to compare. The next company I called was referred to me by a friend. During the consultation the estimator kept pushing solar along with the new roof, now that really turned me off. After receiving this estimate I found that it was $2,500.00 higher. With this bitter taste in my mouth I decided I would go with Hawaiian Island Roofing Inc.

I met with Aurelio signed the contract and scheduled the instillation for the following week. They showed up on time and immediately started work on my roof. Aurelio had three workers along with himself and it was clear that they were all very efficient at their job. No time was wasted as they cleared the old shingles and laid the felt down in one day. I was amazed that they worked on the roof all day only coming down for a short lunch. At the end of the work day they did a clean up of any materials that may have fallen into my yard to include passing a large magnet to catch any nails.

The following day again they were on time. The shingles arrived and they started on the actual installation of the new roof. Again it was amazing to watch as my new roof started to take shape all under the blazing heat of a summer sun. By the third day the new roof had been installed along with two Solaro attic fans. Aurelio and his company did a great job on the instillation of a new roof at my home for more that a fair price.

I recommend this company services to anybody looking to install a new roof. A Very professional and hard working company who take pride in their workmanship.
