Custom Copperworks have done a couple of projects for me. Up front they did a small copper clad window and in the back they did copper roof over my patio. Before hiring them I searched far and wide all over California. Most places that claim to be able to do custom copper work actually are either extremely overpriced as they get their copper roof panels fabricated on the East Coast or are clueless.

For my small window they used individually pressed copper tiles. After they finished they came back to bee wax it. This actually wasn't in the contract. (I didn't even know that such thing exists) They melted some beeswax in a copper pot and hand applied it to the copper so that the design stands out better. Looks Amazing!!!

What I would really like next are the real bronze windows and doors that they offer. Hmm... just need to think hard where to find money to fund this project.

I own a landscape company, Stonebrook Landscapes, and I recently hired Hans for some copper work. I had him do 5 copper spouts for a fountain at one of my projects. First off, his shop is amazing. He has some art pieces he has done through the years hanging on the walls. So if you had any doubt going in about his ability to do ""anything"", you will leave with confidence that he can get it done. He created the water feature spouts in just two days and they fit perfectly. I have since referred him to a client that wanted copper gutters and downspouts. Again, Hans delivered and once again, I was the hero since I was the one that found him!! :-)) I am pretty thrilled that from now on I can start designing projects that have intricate copper work because I can have Hans make them for me.
