I had five estimates and they were the second lowest but they were recommended to me and I'm glad they were because the quality of their work and the final price for all the rotted wood they had to replace was much less than other companies would have been. I've called Handyman Roofing twice in the 15 years I've lived in Pinellas County.

The first time was in 2020 after a valley in my then 25 year-old tile roof failed, dumping part of my garage ceiling on top of my motorcycle. Handyman came out, performed the difficult task of finding matching tile, and replaced the failed valley over the course of a few days. They never left the house vulnerable to weather and gave me a good price plus guarantee.

I chose Handyman for the valley after receiving estimates from five other roofing companies because I felt that Handyman's price and warranty were a better deal than any of their competitors.

Towards the end of 2023, and after two near-misses by hurricanes in 2022 and 2023, we started to see wet carpet in our master closet after heavy rains and didn't want the ceiling to come down the way it did in 2020 in my garage, so I called Handyman immediately for an estimate on another valley replacement. They scheduled the job for a few days later, but after tearing off the old weatherproofing, they told me that it might be time to replace more than just the valley, I might want to consider replacing my entire 28 year-old tile roof this time. They left me to decide for the weekend, but were sure to fully seal up the uncovered portion while I decided.

The price this time was 50% higher than their original whole roof estimate in 2020 due to a shortage of materials and higher labor costs. I elected to have them put a double layer of peel and stick underlayment down, increasing my warranty to 20 years for the roof, and I asked them to go ahead and replace the rusted chimney cap while they were up there.

The next week, they came out and spent 3 days stripping off my old roof, replacing rotten wood, and sealing up the parts they had uncovered before leaving for the evening. The new tile was on order, so I'd need to wait for it to arrive.

About 6 weeks later, I got a call from them, telling me the tile would be delivered on Monday. They were done on Tuesday.

There is a quantifiable sense of comfort in knowing that a heavy rain just isn't going to be an issue. Handyman Roofing provided that sense of comfort. They weren't the cheapest roofing company, but I think they are the best value when I put all the factors together.

I had the unfortunate experience of a leak in my ceiling during a heavy rain storm. Handyman Roofing sent someone over the next day to give me a quote on a repair job for my roof & also put up tarps on my roof to prevent future leaks until the work could be done. Once work commenced, the project manager let me know that, due to the age and condition of my roof, the repair job would need to be expanded slightly, or I may want to consider having the entire roof replaced. (Completely understandable as it's hard to assess the full extent of damage until work starts.) He showed and explained to me precisely what the problems were, so I felt informed in making the decision to have the entire roof repaired. This company was very quick in getting the work scheduled and completed and was very responsive to any of my calls with questions. A secondary water barrier was included in the price, as well as a wind inspection report for my home insurance. They also reconfigured the venting in my roof to better cool the attic spaces. Handyman Roofing really exceeded my expectations, and I'd highly recommend them to my friends & neighbors.

no no no never .......... they came out and showed up late first of all ..... didn't call or message they were showing up 30 min late ,,,,,,,, so not impressed to start with ............. i was also reluctant because this company blasts their tv/internet ads like furious as if they're desparate for biz and now we see why ....... they sux move onto a nother roofer

The owner is a con artist and they do very bad work. Nothing but lies. ANY roofer would do a better job. Heck, anyone, roofer or not, would do better work.

Was very pleased with the professional team that showed up and did a fantastic job, along with a supervisor who kept me abreast of any problems or unseen repairs that needed to be done. I know its hard to swallow an increase over the initial estimate but you never know what water damage lies beneath the shingles. I would recommend Handyman Roofing to a friend.

I had a small leak over my sons bedroom, and I called for a estimate. and they got right out there to give me the estimate. The price seemed reasonable. I asked a few friends what they thought. Although, I did not get another estimate. I just wanted to get it done. Did not want any more damage to my roof. The price was 1,400.00
they had to replace some damaged wood also. I have not had any problems so far. They also took pictures per my request and sent them to me on my phone. So, I could see what they were doing. For the worked they had to do. I think the price seemed reasonable. They got there right away to do the roof, which I was very pleased about. So, no more damage could take Place. If I had more work to do on my roof, I would definitely call them again.

Excellent services provided by Handyman Roofing. The sales rep Brian, was very pleasant. Additionally, Randy was very thorough in not only confirming and identifying where the first leak originated but identified a 2nd leak caused by inadequate work done by the original roofer from a local company in the Orlando area. This company went beyond the call of duty to repair the leaks and did extra work to ensure that it was done correctly. Wire mesh was used to cover all the PVC pipes on the roof to mitigate the squirrels from eating the lead off the PVC pipes. The workers took time to blow existing leaves and debris from the roof. What a pleasant company where the workers have great work ethics!! This company really appears to value customer satisfaction.
