My roof was replaced 8 years ago due to hail damage. I had seen Guy Roofing ads and their signs up in various neighborhood. After getting the go ahead from my insurance company my new roof was completed. 2 years ago I noticed some shingles had come off do I called thinking it was under warranty. The salesman came out checked the roof, and also a gutter I was concerned about. The quote was 1200.00. I found out workmanship was only for 5 years so I went with them even tho I thought the cost was too high. Fast forward to last Friday and I see 3 shingles are either loose or off in the the exact same location. Called them again and found out their repairs carry no warranties. I found a small company to come out yesterday and repairs were completed in around 45 minutes and was charged less than 100.00. The repair man did not have good things to say about what he saw on my roof, so I'm sure I will be calling him back in the next few years. I do research on companies when I need repairs but I guess I should have looked at BBB and other sites more closely. I would not recommend them to anyone now and as the saying goes-""fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Do not use this company. They do not honor their workmanship guarantees and have illegal/ unregistered immigrants working on their installation crews. I had Guy Roofing replace my beachfront roof last October 2018 in Wrightsville Beach. The entire instal crew was from Mexico and did not speak english. I asked for the best roof possible to be installed. I paid for Duration Platinum to sustain 130 mile an hour winds. When Dorian impacted our area this year 2019 it took off some of the roof and the caps on the ridges that Guy Roofing installed 10 months earlier. Guy roofing located at: 201 Jones Road Spartanburg, SC refused to tarp our damaged roof and claimed that the, ""caps"" that blew off were a lower grade product. In other words, not the higher grade Duration Platinum I paid for. Thus, they were not covered under their 2 year warranty. Their representative, ""Nate"" who came out to evaluate our damaged 2019 roof said that I had to specifically ask for the higher grade, ""Caps"" in Duration Platinum even though I asked for the Duration Platinum shingle. I am taking Guy Roofing to court to pay for all damages. I Will update as this plays out....

No, I don't need a consultation. I need my ridge vent repaired to stop water leaking into my home. I have no interest in setting up a time when both my wife and I can be here so that you can attempt to upsell something that I don't need. I have a damaged ridge vent that's leaking water. I need a repair man, not a salesman. It's disappointing that you place a higher priority on setting up a sales appointment than helping a customer stop water from entering their house. That says a lot to me. It tells me that you only want large profit jobs and care less about your previous customers.

You installed the roof, and you've been out before to recaulk flashing. I was extremely happy with you until today. Now it appears that all you want to do is try to sell me a new roof WITHOUT EVEN COMING OUT TO SEE WHAT'S WRONG.

I guess you've gotten too big now and have no interest in loyalty and customer service. I don't need a new roof right now but when I do, it won't be Guy roofing installing it.

Had them come out to my home in Cowpens SC,the guy didn't even get the ladder off the truck he stood back and looked at the front of the roof didn't even look at the back set in his truck for 5 minutes and gave me a Price of 6000.00$ what a joke and a waste of time. So glad I didn't use guy roofing

My roof started leaking after about four years, just before the five year workmanship warranty ran out. Someone came out and said they found and fixed it. Just past the five year mark, with no warranty now, the leak was back. Now I have a really bad leak that is pouring water in. The first couple of years I recommended them all the time, never again.

Nightmare to try to work with. Revolving door of people- no one gets back to you- and the upcharges for ""extras"" not included are outrageous

This list of problems is to long to list here. High end home landscape, sprinklers, lighting damaged. Trash left behind. Workers laying in the grass because they did not have enough materials, cigarette buds left behind along with their food trash...

They did not do the full roof ridge until I insisted, they threw away gutter guards that where in perfect shape without asking. Told me I could buy new ones and pay them to install. I was like WHAT!!!??

So no I would not recommend!

Dont hire they didn't show up at all called and asked why said it was denied both me an wife was here she took day off for them to look at so I called another company an they are on way out to look at it

My experience with this company from the estimator to the roofers has been excellent and professional. They were timely and very thorough. They cleaned the area and left it clean. I was very impressed with their followup. I would definitely refer theme to a neighbor, family or client.
