Guy Brothers Roofing & Siding does a phenomenal job at providing information on the roofs they install. I was able to explain the the details of the roof I have to my realtor. The roof value was important for the purchase price of my home .

We contracted in April 2023 with Guy Brothers to replace our roof, fascia and the vinyl siding over our garage door. They all seemed friendly and professional when we met with them and signed proposals for the roof and for the fascia and siding (separate proposals from separate offices within Guy Brothers). The proposals from Guy Brothers were scope-of-work proposals with no itemization of materials or labor, just a total cost figure. Then the delays started, for various reasons including no communication between the roofing office and the siding office to schedule their individual jobs. We finally received the roofing material a month after they told us they were ready to start and the siding was done a week later. The real problems began after the work was done and we were invoiced for the work. The invoice for the roofing was broken down to itemize each item of material and labor. It included a line item for an extra charge of $1042.00 for a steep roof installation. I questioned this item, we have no steep roof, was told it was a mistake and we would get a revised invoice. The revised invoice did not show the steep roof charge, however, all the other item charges had been increased to keep the total charge the same. Expanation is that we signed a proposal for a certain amount and we were obligated to pay that amount regardless of their mistakes in estimating the job. Bottom line with Guy Brothers: they will play games with their invoices to maintain the proposed cost but you have no idea what they included in their proposal to get that number. I am a retired architect and CGC and consider this practice in the trades to be less than honorable.

I signed a contract with Guy Brothers in November. The employe (Doug Schumaker) told me that I didn't need a new roof and just needed minor repairs. He said he'd be out the following week to do the job himself. Weeks passed, I contacted Guy Bros who were no help at all. They told me to deal directly with Doug. I contacted Doug at the end of December and he told me he'd be out in January. January came and went, nothing. I, once again, contacted Doug in February and he told me he'd be out the following week. Again, nothing. It is now the end of March. I understand that it's a busy time. There are many people who need new roofs. Fortunately, my roofing issue is not too severe. If Guy Brothers/Doug had been straight with me from the beginning and told me it would be several months, that would have been fine. Instead, I've been strung along time after time. No communication is made unless I initiate, at least that's how it was. Now, Doug won't respond at all. Guy Brothers is a TERRIBLE company. Stay far, far away. They don't deserve your business.

DO NOT USE THIS ROOFER. If I could have given a -10 rating, I would have. They put on a new roof for us which leaked constantly. They came out time and again, but it was never fixed. Finally, I had a home inspector come out to tell me why I was getting leaks everywhere. He said the roof has been installed incorrectly, and it would continue to leak. I had to have it torn on and a whole new roof put on. Guy Brothers refused to reimburse us the 9K we paid him. Find another roofer.

I have called several times from my phone and no answer. I decided to use my husband's phone and the call would get answered and then they would hung up. I called 4 times to be hung up on.


When Linda finally answered. I was told they arent taking repairs.

Lovely people, just do awful work. I can't even explain how they left my little house--no caulking, huge gaps, supposedly guaranteed 130 mph tiles that flew off in half that. I was told that they will not even look at what happened, that they had better jobs after the hurricane. My insurance agreed that it was poorly maintained, and did not cover any losses. The parts that are bad are from their subcontractors, not them.

These guys are awesome!! They were the first ones to come out and give me a quote and they did a great job on my roof! I have a 6600 sqft warehouse and they knocked it out in 2.5 day's!! Highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs!!

Guy brothers recently put a new roof on at my work and they did an amazing job. We had an existing metal roof that had a lot of rust and they spent time evaluating our situation. They also worked with our budget and gave us several options to choose from. They were very professional and timely. The work crew was courteous and clean, the area did not have much debris or trash after the job was done.

We received estimates from several top rated roofers to replace 75% of our roof as a recent addition was done which already had a new roof. One of the companies tried to sell us on replacing the entire roof as they said it would be hard to join and match. Chris from Guy Brothers came out and after a thorough review of the job, was comfortable they could join in with no issue and provided an estimate that was very competitive. After choosing them for the work, they were on site within two weeks and completed the job in one day. Chris oversaw the work and when he saw that the shingles delivered were not a perfect match, went back to their shop and found a much better match. The truck was sent back to pick up the wrong color and delivered the new ones. This was all worked out in a couple hours while the crew was still removing the old shingles so no delay to the job. They crew left the site clean and did an outstanding job. Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest quality roofer.
