One of the sides of the roof that Gustafson installed is several colors. All the other sides of the roof are uniform. Gustafson refuses to redo the roof, claiming that it is a normal color variation from the same dye lot. However, if that were true, then the other sides of the roof would not look uniform. Moreover, when the representative from the tile manufacturer, Eagle, inspected our roof, he said that he was unable to explain why the tiles on the one side were different colors, because he said they were from the same dye lot. Gustafson's solution is to spray the roof with coloring, but Gustafson's owner attended a meeting where our community's ARC told Gustafson's owner that spraying any color on the roof is prohibited by HOA rules. We paid for a new roof, not one that is spray painted. We paid for a new roof where the tiles look like the uniform ones in the brochure they had us review, and not one that is spray painted. Gustafson said they wanted to try to match the mis-colored tiles, but if Gustafson can't match the tiles that allegedly are from the same dye lot, then they certainly can't match tiles from different dye lots. Now, Gustafson refuses to do anything, except for sending us invoices for complete payment.

To make matters even worse, Gustafson also broke our new hose reel, and damaged our driveway. We told Gustafson to cover the driveway after their trucks accidentally stained it. They covered the driveway with metal plates the second time they were here. However, when they didn't cover the driveway the third time they were here, they broke pavers where we expanded the driveway last year, and their trucks caused the driveway to dip in.

What a horrible, painful experience. Gustafson roofing must not be anyone's choice for a new roof. They are horribly unorganized...leadership is never available to speak and messages go unanswered. They lack any concern for delays or client concerns. If that isn't bad enough, I ended up paying 25% more than their quote to replace my roof. All of the ""extra"" hidden costs were never shared with me until after I paid in full and then received a final invoice with the significant extra expense. A final chapter to a terrible experience.

Alfredo was such a huge help as well.  He explained every step on the first day as well as along the way.  He gave me piece of mind knowing that he was experienced.  He was so professional and friendly.

Gustafson Roofing ruined our home! They put different color trim on the same home, did shoddy carpentry work and will not honor their warranty. Mike Gustafson and Gustafson Industries and Gustafson Roofing have scammed us. Their employee comes by our home now screaming expletives- its all on video and very scary. The owner refuses to do anything about it! This company needs a visit by the BBB or some type of oversight.

They promised our new roof would be complete in March. It's now hurricane season and it's still not finished. Missing deadlines by a few weeks or even a month is one thing but this just outrageous. I gave up trying to call and get updates. I'm so frustrated with them and certainly would not recommend them

I recently had a few tiles repaired and my roof painted by Gustafson. The roof was initially replaced by Gustafson by the previous owners, so the roof just needed a refresh. The work was completed and the roof looks superb. I found the staff easy to reach and I was able to get quick responses to my questions. I will definitely be using them again for our roofing needs.

Stay Away.

Referred by a friend; given repair quote & paid 50% deposit & told repair would be done in 3 weeks. Needed ++ prompting to schedule work. Charged 50% more in labor due to ""hidden"" cost of replacing the wood. Company rep didn't care we're dissatisfied. Neighbor has a leak, they never called her back.

Gustafson Roofing did a fantastic job of estimating our roof replacement, setting a schedule & budget and sticking to them. While it was tough to find a matching roof tile to what we had and even longer to get them due to shortages, Gustafson kept us posted every step of the way. The installation was quick and neat. In addition, Yvon Grandbois went above and beyond expectations by taking the initiative to meet with our HOA to get their approval of the materials used. We will definitely use them again!

I like this company. They repaired my roof about five years ago and since then I had another company come to give me a price for a new roof. That second company said the repairs were well done. I have had no problems since. They were responsive and professional.
