Had a leak and they were quick to come out and fix it. Very reasonable and only asked for money once the job was done. Had them come out a 2nd time to fix a loose tile in another section of the roof. They inspected the whole roof and found about 20 tiles and fixed them all for the same price. They were quick to come out and very reasonably priced. Tony was great taking care of any issues. They are my go-to company for roof repairs.

I hired this company to install a new roof, and on Friday July 13, 2018 they ripped off the old roof, but then it started to rain hard. All of my ceilings inside the house were soaked, which was discovered by the painter the next morning. (I live out of state). I reached the company by noon the next day, and sent a friend over to let the roofer in. It took the roofer 4 hours to get over to the house. I told the company I was worried about toxic mold, and they said they would ""take care of it.""
Four days later they removed all the soaked ceilings and wet insulation. Unfortunately that was enough time for toxic mold to develop throughout the house. When the ceilings were removed it was revealed they had shingled over an old 12 inch vent hole without first putting in plywood, and they installed an unnecessary vent as the house has a continuous ridge vent. (This was remedied by the company, but shows the lack of integrity of the installation). The owner told me he would turn this over to his insurance company, Brown Ins. of Venice, FL, but they told me he wasn't covered for water damage. I settled with the owner for $9,500. but the mold remediation took a month and cost over $15,000 and this figure does not cover the cost of replacing the drywall and insulation. (Walls had to be removed because of the mold). This house was not abandoned, had been lived in continuously up until six weeks prior to the installation, and the roof was not leaking badly. (This was the company's response to a review I wrote elsewhere).

We recommend Gulf Coast Roofing and their principals, Todd & Scott, very highly. We are prominent Manatee County property owners, owning over a dozen commercial, retail and office properties, and threw a tough roofing challenge at them. A 14,000 square foot building with a ten year old modified roof that wasn't in terrible shape, but was showing its age and permitting leaks. We challenged Gulf Coast to restore it, to extend its life within our tough budget. They did a terrific job at a very fair price. Even though they faced very difficult inconsistent unpredictable weather conditions, some days too much rain, some days none, which greatly complicated the work, they did a fine job. Quality workmanship at very competitive prices, what more can one ask?
