I have been Very IMPRESSED! We had 6 bids for roofing from very reputable companies. After we received all the bids we selected Yancey Roofing. Not only were they very competitive on their price but their service was phenomenal! They did the job in 3 days and the roof looks great! One thing I learned was to make sure you look into the companies and what they offer. Yancey bid included everything and there was no surprises. Great Company I would use them again!

I was going to use Gudgel Yancey (GY) to re-roof my home but decided not to because I am planning to sell this spring and didn't think I'd get the money back out of the sale. GY's field rep, Kevin Johansen, was great to work with, despite our decision not to go forward. No pressure and was very professional. After some negotiating, GY was actually the least expensive of the three bids I received and offered the best warranty. If we decide not to sell our home we will definitely use GY to replace our roof. Highly recommend GY!

I am very disappointed with this company, Gudgel Yaney. Kevin Johansen came to my house on 9/28/18 to give me an estimate on repairs to my roof. He told me the cost would be $400. I was desperate to get my roof repaired before the rainy weather. He asked me if I had any friends or family members that could do the repair because it was a simple fix. I told no, that I was okay with the $400. He continued to say, really you are okay with paying $400 and my response was yep.
Right before he left he said, if you text your name, along with address and the word repairs that he would only charge my $75 for the supplies, but in order for me only pay $75 I would need to go on YEP to give him a good review. He said once the review was posted then he would come to do the repairs, but could not give a time frame. He said, well it is only $75, but you would need to wait for the repairs to be done.
I cannot believe that a company would do that. I am desperate need and don't mind paying the cost. I wonder how many other customers he has done with too.

To me, posted a review on YEP before any work is done is wrong. How do I know this guy will come back, if he does not do the repairs, then he has a good review for nothing. I am frustrated because I thought this was a reputable company, guessed wrong!

We are beyond happy to have chosen Gedgel Yancey Roofing! We purchased a ""fixer upper"" in July and decided to reroof before winter. There have been many things that weren't fixed to code by the prior owner that Gudgel Yancey Roofing has fixed! They take everything in stride and deal with everything in a completely professional manner. Always clean up after themselves too! I wouldn't hesitate to have any of their employees in our home for dinner! Thank you so much Gudgel Yancey Roofing!

I talked to a lot of roofing companies prior to choosing a contractor and found most of them to be inconsistent from one day to the next in what they would charge and how they would do things. I spoke with Scott and Ken from Gudgel Yancey Roofing and things began to change. They were on time and on target for price, schedule, and quality. The roofing team was outstanding in their quality of work and response to questions and requests. I really felt they were doing the work as if it was their own house. They kept the area clean and protected plants and things outside the house. This is a no nonsense company. They do what they say with no surprise charges, and great quality. I would certainly talk with them if you were considering a quality roof.

I have not used this company for service, but I would like to post a review regarding the estimate. I contacted eight different roofers and gutter companies to get an estimate about a downspout for our two-story house. Kevin was literally the only one who responded, and he did so quite quickly. When I had to change our appointment he responded immediately to that as well. During the estimate, he reviewed several items on our house and gave a very fair assessment of the problem and solution.

I saw there were not a lot of reviews here. I had been given this company through a reference and my personal experience with the estimate was nothing less than positive.

After lots of research and a good price we chose them. They just finished a roof on our garage. We had an issue with the paint job on a peice of metal that is they put on the roof. We let them know there was a problem, It took them twice and with no grief they fixed it perfect. We will recommend them again.

After careful research and comparing various Companies roofing options and pricing ...We were certain that Gudgel Yancey was a perfect fit & match for us after Ken Cleek came to our home and listened to what we were thinking and wanted ... with zero pressure Ken educated us on a couple of roofing styles we were interested in and then covered all the various options and pros & cons while advising us on all the ( immediate & lifetime ) Benefits investing in a Gerard Steel Coated Roof would provide us which is what we had initially chosen -
Ken also gave us a list of a few homes in our area with new roofs that we could go by and inspect if we wanted to look at the finished home & quality of work... Kudos to Ken because everything he said would happen a certain way from start to finish did !

The job site Supervisor Ricardo is a pros pro , and his crew were punctual , friendly , organized and left my house and their work environment clean & spotless every day apon completion... I was impressed by the quality of his work & attention to every little
detail . Choosing a Roofing Co. was a very important decision for me and in reflection a GOOD & Perfect one based on realistic facts , my business experience and a lil intuition .

The roof leaked over from the screening they put on. They replaced it with a better product. The gutter guy Eddie is awesome and using him directly he fixed our gutter after my husband drove our trailer into it. I still would never recommend the company but hiring Eddie directly is awesome. He is honest, hardworking and a all around good guy. His work is beyond great. The company asked me to remove the bad review but that would be a dis-service to the community.

2 years ago had entire new roof by Yancey. $39,000. Had a small leak last year and they came out and now this year leaking in same place. Went on line to ask for an appointment and told them the history. 3 weeks now and I have not heard a word from Yancey. If you have a $39K project they are right there. Small job good luck getting them to contact you.
