There is a reason that Guardian Chimney Sweep only has 4+ star ratings. Charles showed up on time and did a thorough inspection. Friendly, courteous and honest as the day is long. Said our Chimneys didn't need cleaning, reduced the price for an inspection and recommended some outside masonry work that needed attention. Even gave me a contact to get the job done. A first class company from start to finish which is hard to find these days. Ignore the negative comments. Best price out there. No one will ever touch my Chimneys again besides Guardian. Well Done!!!!

Charles was running late and called to notify me. He was very nice and got to my home soon after. He was super courteous, wore a mask, figured out right away that our gas fireplace didn't need cleaning, and offered to do just an inspection which was less expensive. We hadn't had one since we converted from wood-burning to gas, so appreciated his being honest that we didn't need a cleaning, and he checked our gas line, chimney, etc. He finished in no time and rearranged logs to get better flame production. Will definitely have them come back for another inspection in couple years. Great service, honest, and nice people.

My new clothes dryer was not heating up at all, so I called Guardian Chimney Sweep to have the dryer vent which is located on the roof of my home cleaned. Charlie came out the following day and did a good job of cleaning out the vent. He was very pleasant and got the job done promptly even though there was 7 years of lint accumulated in the vent. Highly recommend this company.

From start to finish, this was a first class company!! I booked over the phone with a very professional person. The day of my service and Melissa, my service person was a few minutes early and that was fantastic! Melissa was very professional, informative, and kind. She took videos and pictures and sent them to me so that I could see the inside of my chimney from top to bottom. She then did a thorough cleaning of the chimney. I'm so very happy with the service that was provided! I plan to recommend them to everyone I know!!

Charles came to my home to check out my fireplace and make some recommendations. Charles was wonderful and we liked him. When I tried to schedule several hundred dollars of repair, I encountered Dee. She told me she was Billy's wife. She was rude and unhelpful. I finally told here I would go elsewhere because of her attitude. To reiterate, Charles was great but Dee was horrible.

The only thing worse then the job they did is their poor attitude. This company was contracted by another company to complete some chimney work at our condo complex. Specifically new chases and collars on 12 units. They came out and completed the work and everything was good. Until it rained. Two units had leaking inside their chimney stacks. They sent someone out the next day that took pictures and said it wasn't their work. That it must be of sideways rain or the tree next to the units, so we said okay maybe. Then it rained again and again we had leaking. The chimney person came out again and when I asked him what the game plan was for him to address the issues, he said it wasn't his work. That is was the roofer's fault. I explained to him again the leaking and that it was from the chase work. Again he insisted that it wasn't his work. I asked him if he would take a water hose up there and water test it. He told me that it would be an extra charge for that and it wasn't here work. He then proceeded to tell me that he has already been paid for this job and this isn't his problem. I then said to him, I wasn't sure why he wasted his time coming out here if all he was going to do is take pictures again.

The roofer game by and first did a water test on the roof. No issues! Then the placed the hose on top of the new chase and the leaking happened again to both units. Roofer said that this company did not seal the chase properly, so they had to remove it and reseal the unit. It rained and it now does not leak.

In short, don't hire this company cause they don't ensure their work is correct and are not willing to listen to customers!

Billy's office quoted me a price. Had the materials within a week and installed without further leak issues. The job was done correctly the first time without excuses.

Charlie cleaned out my dryer vent, which had become terribly clogged. It took 3 times longer than a typical clean out, but he stuck with it, got the job done and still charged the amount quoted over the phone. He also had a great sense of humor. I appreciate his hard work and highly recommend this company.

A very bad experience!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Very unprofessional and did not have all the tools to clean our chimney. So we made another appointment for the following week for them come back and clean the chimney. But we went ahead and paid them $200 in good faith since we made another appointment. The same technician (Charles) came back the following week (1 hour and 45 minutes later than the appointment time) and still did not have the tool. He told us that he forgot what he was coming for and did not get the tool. Then he laughed. We asked him to leave, then we tried to call the company. But they did not or would not answer the phone. We then called the technician Charles directly and he said that they were through and not coming back out. It has been 2 months and we have not heard from them. But they did not hesitate in taking our $200. SO-- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I needed to add a chimney cap and have the mortar replaced on top of the chimney. The owner came out as promised and did a very nice job at a reasonable price.
