My mother ran over one of their roofing tools that was in the middle of the road due to a lack of responsibility of the workers and it destroyed her tire. Both of my parents spoke with the workers and the manager with none of them taking responsibility. The manager was extremely rude to my mother claiming it could have been anyone's tool. It was a roof that was being worked on directly across the street with no other roof being worked on on the neighborhood. It was this company's tool but the manager won't take responsibility for the company's negligence. Please use any other roofing company other than this one because if they mess up your roof, chances are they will not take responsibility for it and they will somehow blame you for their negligence.

The salesman were professional well groomed and knowledgeable and helpful. They fixed all problems effective and efficient

To say the least I was disappointed. We had a small leak in our utility room and was shopping around for a construction company. The quote was reasonable; and since the amount was so cheap...there was no chance of financing. So, we decided to hold off. So, I'm sitting at work and get a faxed invoice for $400. I almost fell out my chair!!!. So, I called and told them they didn't do any work on my house. ""Yes, we did!"". They backdoored and sent pictures of employees on my roof, doing work without our permission! We didn't sign a contract or anything. I was upset. Then, after we went back and forth saying it wasn't a contract...you basically did work for free...they used a scare tactic about putting a lien against my house! Are you kidding me right now?! We weren't scared at all because at the end of the day, you do not have a signed contract. A faxed invoice with a price is not a contract. And you did work without our knowledge. We didn't get a call, nothing! They didn't leave a shingle, a nail, a piece of wood...nothing! I think it was something one day saying they came by hanging from the door knob, but it was thrown in the trash. Anywho, I seen a lawyer in our future. Everything died down and diffused.
The kicker of all of this, Hurricane Harvey came through and the small leak which was the size of a cookie now has gotten bigger! The same area that was supposedly repaired. Make me think they came and tore the work they done out. Who knows!? Thank God for my insurance company so we could get a real remodeling company who fixed it correctly. It cost us more, which is okay but everything was done on the up and up. You don't scam people!!!

Jeff and crew rebuilt are home after 55"" of flood water from Harvey. They were professional and did an excellent job. If they ever made a mistake, they were quick to fix it. Jeff runs a tight shop. I highly recommend them. I worked with them for nearly a year to rebuild our house from studs. We had them give us a new roof and repair quite a few major structural issues, such as replacing joists, moving walls, adding beams, etc. It took some patience, as materials and other factors were out of our control, but it was all well worth the wait. Our home is beautiful. I highly recommend them and we will definitely use them again in the future. Note: Many of our neighbors went through many contractors and got ripped off by some. I am happy to say that was not the case with Guaranteed. They go above and beyond. They are top notch!

Jeff and his crew are my ""go to"" guys! Since April, I have been fighting with TWIA to cover the cost of a new roof. Jeff and/or one of his guys checked the roof a few different times and sent me pictures to help the fight. This was over about months. TWIA ultimately denied the claim but I still needed the roof done. Jeff got his crew out there at the original quoted cost within a week of my go ahead and finished the job in one day. There was little to no mess and nary a nail was found in the yard. These guys rock!

This week Prouty construction rebuilt a bay window wall that had fallen victim to some termite damage. This was in a nearly 40 year old home. The different stages of work that were involved included bracing the ceiling with a temp wall, replacing numerous 2x4 and 2x12 headers leading to the attic, and the base 2x4's on the foundation. Added insulation, and even added support lumber to the outside of the bay window that apparently was never there, but should have been. They replaced sheetrock on walls of two rooms (and textured) and replaced a bay window shelf. The whole job was complete in a couple of days by US citizens. We have nothing left to do but paint.
In getting bids for this project, Prouty was not the cheapest but by far not the most expensive. In fact one carpenter we inquired about, when he heard it involved replacing 2x12 headers, wouldn't even consider the job.
A project manager made site visits each day as well as a final follow up after the job was complete. This is a first-class operation that has been in business many years. While I *might* have been able to do some of this work myself, it would have taken 4x as long and not turned out nearly as good. We are now in talks about bathroom remodels and exterior siding. Two thumbs up.

On the plus side, Jeff (the owner) seems to know his stuff, and as far I know, he (eventually) will take care of you if anything goes wrong. But I'm not even sure about that, because he's one of these types of people who feels entitled to not show up when he said he would meet you (and not return calls), and then acts like it's no big deal afterward.
But the crew that Jeff hired to work on my house...oh man. Above all, they did an incompetent job. They had to come back out three times to fix what they screwed up the first time. They installed a door to the outside but forgot to put on the weather stripping, so the breeze from outside was literally blowing inside. Similarly, they forgot to put the gasket on a shower door, and water leakage literally ruined the drywall in the bathroom.
The behavior of the crew might have been even worse than their incompetence. They started blasting their radio loudly outside at 6:30 in the morning. I'm sure any sleeping neighbors didn't appreciate it. Without asking, they used glasses and dishes from my cupboards and dried their hands on my kitchen towel. They turned off my hot water without telling me, and didn't turn it back on when they left (I took a cold shower the next morning). They left dirty paper towels and leftover fast food bags around the house. They changed the temperature on my thermostat and didn't change it back when they left.
Maybe Jeff has a better crew these days...but if you take a chance and hire him, don't say you weren't warned.
