Green Roofing boasts a team of specialists with over 70 years of combined experience in the commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential sectors. With over 30 years in the roofing industry, our President, Robert Beckner, is highly experienced, not only in Florida but across the United States. Established in 2005, Green Roofing has grown into a mid-sized company with 25 field employees, excluding office staff, estimators, and contract administrators. Over the years, we have installed several miles of durable, energy-efficient roofing systems that provide our clients with substantial savings on energy expenses and installation.

In 1983, Mr. Beckner started his roofing career at Empire Roofing in Venice, Florida, a full-service commercial roofing company. Initially a laborer, he progressed to roofing mechanic at Empire, which is now Tom Joyce Roofing, after almost 15 years. Throughout his career, Mr. Beckner has held roles as lead foreman, superintendent, and project manager for Gulf Commercial Systems, Gulf Roofing, Titan Roofing, and North American Roofing before taking and passing his contractor's exam in Florida. After passing the exam, he established Green Roofing and has successfully served clients for over 8 years. He provides clients with insights into their needs and assists them in understanding Florida's rigorous roofing standards. Currently, as the President of Operations at Green Roofing & Waterproofing Technologies, he oversees over $2 million in annual roofing revenue.
