With a combined experience of over 70 years, our specialists at Green Roofing are highly skilled in the commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential sectors. Our President, Robert Beckner, brings over 30 years of roofing experience, both in Florida and nationwide. Since our founding in 2005, Green Roofing has developed into a medium-sized firm with 25 field workers, in addition to our office team, estimators, and contract managers. Throughout the years, we have delivered miles of sustainable, energy-saving roofing systems that offer significant savings on energy bills and installation costs.

Mr. Beckner began his roofing journey in 1983 at Empire Roofing in Venice, Florida, a comprehensive commercial roofing firm. Starting as a laborer, he worked his way up to roofing mechanic at Empire, now Tom Joyce Roofing, after nearly 15 years. Mr. Beckner has taken on various roles, including lead foreman, superintendent, and project manager for Gulf Commercial Systems, Gulf Roofing, Titan Roofing, and North American Roofing before taking and passing his contractor's exam in Florida. Upon passing, he founded Green Roofing, successfully serving clients for over 8 years. He provides clients with insights into their needs and assists them in understanding Florida's rigorous roofing standards. In his role as President of Operations at Green Roofing & Waterproofing Technologies, he supervises more than $2 million in roofing revenue annually.
