Working with Green Planet Remodeling Inc. was a wonderful experience. We had never undertaken a large remodel project of this nature, so we were initially nervous. Jonathan and his team supported us through the whole process. They listened carefully, explained options thoroughly, made design changes when we asked and worked to meet our needs at every step of the way. I enjoyed the process of working with the designer before the project began to decide on layout, materials and design elements. The design professionals were very helpful in providing me with choices that matched my vision for the design. They found materials and options that I didn't know existed and yet were just perfect for our needs. Jonathan was an excellent contractor and an absolute pleasure to work with.
We can honestly say that Green Planet Remodeling Inc. exemplifies what a remodeling contractor service should be and we would definitely use them for future projects. Our journey has just begun with these guys and we look forward to working with them again in future remodeling projects.

When we first met with him, we had some tentative plans in mind. With Jonathan's experience and careful listening, he was able to create a plan for our kitchen that perfectly fits our personal needs for an up-graded space; at the same time, it is in keeping with our home's period personality. The crew was a pleasure to work with. They laid out a clear and detailed schedule and stuck to it. Believe it or not, they finished a few days of schedule! As is the case with almost any old house, there were many hidden challenges, and his team was able to work with us to come up with the perfect ""Plan B."" We think that the integrity of the work in its entirety from design to completion was superb. I first contacted Green Planet Remodeling after submitting all the requested information on Houzz's website. Green Planet was the first to respond and coordinate a time/date for their contractor, Or to stop by.

Or was ON TIME, listened, and evaluated all of our options, thoughts, and gave us his feedback and thoughts. It was a healthy combination of taking into consideration what we wanted and what was possible (anything is truly possible, but he was open about potential costs, timeframes and other things to consider - things we hadn't considered).

In the end, we evaluated 3 other companies and contractors including one referral, but we decided to go with Green Planet all because of Or to be honest. From Day 1 and throughout, he was *snaps fingers* on top of things.

He was constantly following up with us keeping things moving along. I think he was late maybe once, but he had texted me ahead of time to give me a heads up that he'd be about 5 minutes late, which was super professional (I've heard horror stories about contractors suddenly not showing up or being 1, 2, 3 hours late - super unprofessional).

Throughout the project, Or's team moved fast and kept us updated the entire way. If/when there were surprises or issues, Or would personally stop by in person to assess the situation and provide options or updates. I liked that he was constantly overseeing the work and not being invisible.

We really liked working with Green Planet and Or in particular because we both work full time, have 2 young children, and we're incredibly busy. We don't have time to be following up and project managing a remodel project and having one more thing to keep track of. We really liked that we could rely on Or to take care of everything and be up front about what was going on. Communication was spot on (text, email, WhatsApp, phone).

If there was anything we weren't happy about or had questions, Or would take the time to understand our concerns and provide options, with us making the final decision. Even if it meant more work or they'd have to redo something, they would do it to make sure we were happy. I liked that I didn't always get 100% pushback or moaning and groaning about something that we'd pointed out.

Or was also really good about offering his thoughts on aesthetics (we should align this with the seam here or we should make sure these are all evenly spaced). Observing him work with his team definitely instilled confidence that they were working hard to do a GREAT job (not a ""just get it over and done with"" job). We appreciated those fine details (because we wouldn't have known or thought about it otherwise).

They are very efficient, pay attention to detail (we've gotten rave reviews on the tile work in our bathroom by other professionals) and they are on top of things. They can move as fast as you want to move and they're great for when you have a vision/idea of what you want to do to make it a reality.

We've already referred a lot of friends and co-workers and we're very happy with all of the hard work they put into creating gorgeous bathrooms and closets for us.

Very professional the entire time. You really need to ask for Or if you want to get shit done tastefully, efficiently, and within a fair and reasonable budget.

We'll have to update/add in photos later...been meaning to get this done at the very least.

I am so impressed with Green Planet Remodeling. I had been thinking about some renovations to my condo/townhouse for several years, but was very reluctant to start the process, having heard so many disaster stories that people encounter with remodels. Finally got the nerve to start contacting some companies. One guy came out and seemed very enthusiastic and provided some great ideas, but never heard from him again. When I contacted Green Planet Remodeling, they were so friendly on the phone and recommended Jonathan, the owner of the company, come out on a Sunday afternoon to meet with me. Sunday! Who does that? He was professional and businesslike and had terrific ideas. I told him I had lots of ideas for the remodel, but wanted to take the project through phases to make sure I was happy with the work. The first phase was the master bedroom and bath. They moved the shower to the previous location of the tub, which I never used, then were able to turn the old shower space into a laundry room, so I could move the laundry from the rooftop utility closet to the hallway next to the master. Well, they did a fantastic job. Everything went through the appropriate permitting and inspection by the City (I live in WeHo) and functions very well. Jonathan has a great design aesthetic as well, so he had great ideas and recommendations and went with me to Porcelanosa in WeHo where we were able to find some really great bathroom cabinets, tiles and fixtures. The master bedroom was small and made smaller by a fireplace that protruded into the room. They removed the fireplace, installed new lighting and paint and introduced a very cool floor product that we used called Semco, as I was hoping to have a bit of an industrial vibe to the place. Worked out very well and I'm using it in some of the rest of the home, as well. We had a lot of roadblocks as we were moving through the process. Chief among them was a continual roof leaking problem that I was constantly dealing with. I had re-roofed at least twice and did minor patching over the years, but the leaks got worse and worse. I have a roof top terrace, so it is a flat roof and is used for outdoor relaxing and dining. Jonathan spotted the issue immediately. I had always contacted roofing companies to do the work and Jonathan said that what I needed was a waterproofing company. He connected me with a company that specializes in this kind of work and while it was a somewhat lengthy process, the company was wonderful and their workers were top notch. We found some really significant water leak issues that were causing some significant damage, including some mold that needed remediation. Again, Jonathan was able to handle that, bringing in specialists to treat the mold. So needless to say, I've continued using Green Planet for additional phases. Phase 2, the guest bedroom and bath has been completed, and we are now onto Phase 3 which is the kitchen remodel. Having resolved a lot of the bumps in the road earlier in the process, the kitchen remodel, now underway, is moving like gangbusters. I feel lucky that Jonathan and Green Planet Remodeling walked into my condo that Sunday afternoon - while reno is not necessarily fun, the results are fabulous,.

In Progress review : EZ and his team were quick on the demolition and initial framing/plumbing and we are very happy with the progress we have made so far in the first 2 weeks of the project.

These guys are the real deal!
I bought a house that needed some work, to say the least. Moving into a new place is always as stressful as it is exciting; but to me, Green Planet made everything better!
We redid my entire master bedroom and bathroom, now it feels like a luxurious hotel room.
We had the walls and ceilings smoothed and painted throughout the house, and new beautiful tile floors put in.
Also, since I mostly work from home, we finished the garage to use as an office, complete with new floors, lighting and air conditioning. Now when my mother in law comes for a visit, I know where to put her! ;)
The team was friendly and professional, the price was fair, and we did not go out of budget. The work was done on time, passed all inspections with flying colors, and exceeded all expectations. EZ made it easy!

I provided review of a GREAT company that provided services for us. Here is an example of a TERRIBLE company. Over priced, terrible quality of work, bad communications, not timely, and uncaring. I suggest another company in Long Beach. Save your money, go with another company.
