I'm usually hesitant about writing reviews but these Yelp reviews were very essential for me when I selected a GC; so I hope others will find this useful. My experience with Green Group was in no way 5 stars worthy and the only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because even at the worst points our Project Manager Jacob remained respectful and did his best to make us happy. Jacob was also pretty flexible as we had numerous changes to the original statement of work. The biggest issues with our remodel (laundry, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, fireplaces etc) included and weren't limited to permit issues, poor project management, mediocre subs, overpromising and under delivering and poor workmanship. In the end the finished product wasn't horrible but that's probably because we had to complain about the standard of work and numerous fixes had to be done. Everything that could go wrong did, from beginning to end.

We just wrapped up a remodel of 3 upstairs bathrooms, along with our laundry room and a couple storage nooks, and couldn't be happier with the work Green Group Remodeling did. As well as how quickly they got the job done. From the start, they responded quickly to our quote request, to when the work was happening, they were always available and willing to work with us when we had a couple of small changes along with way. Working with our project manager, Matan Schejter, was more than easy and a pleasure, and very easy to work with, especially when it gets a bit stressful making sure items are being delivered on time, etc.

I can't speak highly enough of the crew that worked on the project. From the demo crew, to the plumbers, and the guys doing all the rest, they were top notch and super nice. While we were out of the house during the remodel, I was at the house almost daily, and it was always good to see the guys and check in with them. Saul, who was the on-site Lead was fantastic to work with and always helpful when the smaller changes or additions came up.

Would definitely recommend Green Group Remodel for all your remodeling needs.

I contacted Green Group remodeling in May for a bathtub replacement in my master bathroom and complete kitchen remodel. I feel very fortunate to have had Jacob come out to my home and take on my project. I immediately knew I wanted to work with him. He has high energy, is quick thinking, great at communicating & keeping me updated throughout the duration of the remodel, he shares his insight and experience with design without being pushy, he's a perfectionist & constantly working, he ultimately and genuinely wants you to be completely happy with the end result of your project and will do whatever he can to make it so. I always felt that my project, my home was in the right hands with him project managing. Even when unexpected complications came up Jacob reassured me that it would be taken care, and it was without undue drama or stress to me. Jacob went the extra mile for my project countless times. I know that he had many other projects that he was managing along with mine, but he always made me feel like mine was the only one that he was working on by constantly keeping in communication, meeting me to assist with picking out materials, meeting with me at times that were accommodating to my life and work schedule, he was always mindful of my budget and time line. I would be happy to work with Jacob and Green Group Remodeling again on future projects! Thank you Green Group Remodeling for the new beauty you brought to my home!

We remodeled our guest bath and large master shower with Green Group. Overall, I am quite happy with our outcome, though I believe it could have been a bit smoother. So, I struggle a bit between 4 and 5 stars. We'll call it 4.5.

Jacob is eager to please, conscientious, responsive, and full of energy. It's clear he loves his work and he is good at it. After a false start with another Green Group foreman that honestly had me worried just a week and a half into the project, Jacob took over the job and began to organize it well.

Anyone who thinks that even a small-medium sized remodeling job like ours can go off without a hitch is probably delusional, I know. Add complications of COVID and needing to be home throughout the entire process to some special considerations (always present) and it could have been a lot worse. I credit Jacob with managing our project and expectations very well.

Jacob clearly takes pride in not only his work, but in overall customer satisfaction. He even pointed out some extra things for us that we added to the project in change orders which have heightened our satisfaction with this job.

That said, Jacob appears stretched a bit too thin between projects. When he is available and engaged, all is well. When he is occupied with another project, things can slip a little.

There was one minor glitch that caused our project to go off schedule and lose momentum about half way through. Without going into too much detail, this setback compounded an issue with another aspect of our project, causing our crew to become lax with their attention to neatness and keeping our home clean of construction dust while we were living with the construction. Jacob did his best to direct the crew to correct the original problem, but I discovered it was not done properly after they had moved on to another phase of work.

After assessing that the original issue did, in fact, need to be readdressed, Jacob was cheerful and quick to see to it that the problem was fixed, often while managing remotely and responding to pictures I would send to him. By this point a couple of weeks of delays had started to pile on, though, and the spirits of the very friendly and great crew were noticeably dampened.

Add to this some complicated tile work in the final phase that took longer than expected, required a couple of re-dos to get right, and generated an unexpected, but necessary, overage charge and an extra couple of weeks to the timeline, and frustration began to set in with us all. The crew started to get lax on sealing up the tile cutting areas and tile dust covered our entire (very open floor plan) home. Neatness and detail in painting also suffered and needed to be redone, causing more setbacks and delaying some flooring work we were having done in an adjacent room.

Because we were now weeks delayed, Jacob was splitting time between multiple other projects. His assistant, Shon, did stop by occasionally, but didn't command the same presence at the site with the crew. I became a regular fixture on the text app Jacob set up for us.

I leaned that pictures drew the fastest and most complete response from Jacob. When I brought my concerns to Jacob's attention (with pics and video) he responded quickly and reassured us that he would make it right. And he did, to an acceptable degree. He followed up tirelessly and made us feel like he was our advocate to everyone associated with the process.

In the end, we are thrilled with the results. The work is beautiful and we are enjoying our home. Green Group has a solid representative of their company in Jacob and we would happily work with him again...maybe same time next year on something???

Bathroom Remodel w/ Jacob, Saul & Rigo -- My wife Alex and I are very satisfied with the work that Saul & his team were able to complete in a relatively short period of time (~2 months from start to finish). Jacob, the lead contractor @ Green Group takes point on the project with high energy and conviction to bring the best product possible to life. As plans changed throughout, he took them in stride and really worked hard to partner with us. The pictures speak for themselves -- was that Poseidon filling the tub? is that now a skylight in the fully enclosed glass steam shower? Saul has the skills to do most anything on site. The quality and amount of tile work done, we have to give Rigo credit where credit is due! Happy buyers over here. Quality work at very fair prices.

I worked with Jacob on a partial remodel on my condo (floor, minor kitchen items and updated bathroom). A condo remodel is challenging from the start due to working with the HOA on getting approval but Jacob was always very responsive and helpful in getting the approval needed to start work. Raul was the foreman and had amazing attention to detail. I'm super happy with how the work turned out. Weeks after the work has been done, I am still in such awe of how great the place looks now. Highly recommend Jacob and Raul!

Under Saul's guidance, the work crew were all very professional and knew their craft perfectly. Just stepping in the bathroom now is a delight, let alone taking a shower!

We had a great experience working with Jacob, and wanted to highly recommend him! Although we ended up not pursuing the specific project we were discussing, I still wanted to leave a review for how thoughtful, kind and helpful Jacob was throughout the estimation process. We had an extremely complicated project in which we inherited an approved permit from the previous homeowners, but the previous permit drawings had a lot of problems and missing info (eng/structural/plumbing etc), meaning it was very difficult to work out how to do the project. Despite all these complications, Jacob was committed to looking for a way to make it work, visiting our property multiple times to analyze structural or plumbing issues, and always very respectful and COVID-safe wearing a mask. He quickly understood our vision for the project, spent hours on the phone breaking down costs both in the contract and for estimated finished materials, and was just so helpful. We were new to the home renovation process and first-time homeowners and really appreciated this thoughtful, patient approach. We would definitely reach out to Jacob and Green Group for future projects! Thank you Jacob!
