Finding a business you can trust to do a good job is really hard. When I was looking for a place that could help me go green and save energy, I came across green conceptions. After meeting with these guys I knew I found the right people to do the job. They were the nicest, most professional workers. They did a great job with the installation, even kept the work area clean! All I know is that the guys at green conception are awesome and I recommend them to anyone whose interested in getting solar panels. Thank you green conceptions!

I had got the information about Green Conception through Solar Reviews. Once I filled up the form, I got a call from Nick to setup an appointment to discuss about installing solar in my home.

Before Nick, I had spoken to atleast 5-6 installers and many were just people who were trying to market their company or product. Nick was very genuine and gave me all the information. He was able to give the right prices for the panels and micro inverters (things which I researched and found its price). I liked the way he handled my questions and even till the end, he didnt try to push the product to me. He built a system specific to my needs. I had a condition that I wanted to get this system installed asap, since I was leaving the city for a vacation. Nick promised me that he would get things done within the next two weeks including all the paperwork, since he had a few people who can try to squeeze in some time for it.

This company wasnt like most contractors (who get a contract signed and try to mint as much money from the customer). Nick started the process immediately and had a clear payment schedule. He was flexible to come and collect the payments whenever I was available. The guys who came to install the panels were very friendly and I was impressed with the dedication they put to install the system. I could see that they were very proud of their work.

And as promised, the system was installed within two weeks. Then came a long wait for LADWP to process the application (which is not under our control). Finally, in december they had turned on the system and it runs like a charm. I m now waiting to see my first LADWP bill.

One of my friends referred me to Green Conception and I'm glad he did! They know what they're doing and how to do it. When I called I was greeted very professionally and got all my questions answered. They gave me an appointment the very next day and started the job with 2 weeks and finished it in a week. The job they did was absolutely amazing and they were very neat, no trash was left behind. I also had a tree problem that was blocking the panels but Nick brought in another company to trim the tree. After several weeks of research and talking with people from various solar companies, I decided to go with Green Conception. With Green Conception I was dealing with Nick directly, the person at the top, rather than having to go through subordinates. Since Nick is the president of the company, he is very conscientious about his business. With a couple of the other companies that I spoke to I felt that I was only speaking to the ""salesman"" who was more interested in closing the deal. I was afraid that once I signed the deal I would get lost in the shuffle and not receive the personal attention. I even had one salesman request that I sign the agreement even before meeting with him.

At our first meeting Nick explained the whole process to my husband and I. Nick took care of all the details with the LADWP such as the filings of the forms for rebates, etc. He was readily available to answer any questions we had.

The installation process started the week after we signed the agreement. It went very smoothly with little disruption to our home and the project was completed within three weeks from signing to completion of installation.

I have talked with other friends who also had recent solar installations and they were very surprised that ours was completely installed in such a short period of time. They chose a larger well-known company and it took a few months before the installation had even started.

At this point we are not up and running since the LADWP has a six to eight-week waiting period for the final changeover of the meter. Nick did inform us at the beginning of the process that this would be the only delay since he has no control over the LADWP.

Needless to say, we were very pleased with the service and professionalism that we received from Solar Conception and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Nick at Green Conception was responsive to my concerns/inquiries and helped navigate the City of Glendale's complex solar program / rebate. Installation went without a hitch (26 panels) and system is easy to monitor via a web based log-in. If you are thinking of going solar now is the time as Federal tax credits expire in 2016.

Green Conception, owned and managed by Nick Keshishian, did an outstanding job getting my solar panels up and running here in Burbank. Green Conception is a relatively small outfit and I wasn't ready at first to take a chance with a small company; I thought, maybe a big company like Solar City would be better. I was afraid if I went with Green Conception, and the company went belly up, I'd be stuck if I needed maintenance or support in the future. But after my first meeting with Nick my instinct told me he was the right person for the job. And I haven't regretted my decision yet.

I have a 2-storey home about 2900 square feet. Nick proposed a system with 22 rooftop solar panels and 22 micro-inverters with a total rating of 4.5 KW peak. So far I've only achieved 3.5 KW at noon with a daily average energy production of about 20 KWH because this is the dead of winter, the days are short and the sun is way down in the southern hemisphere. But I'm looking forward to production rising in the summer months. There were some obstacles to overcome during installation, particularly after the Burbank inspector came by. But Nick and his crew were there almost every day to handle the problems. Each time the inspector found a problem (some as minor as the font size of the lettering on warning signs, some more significant) Nick or his crew came by to address the problem and make the fix, sometimes at night after working hours. I was impressed by Nick's devotion to getting the job done and getting it done right. After final inspection and approval by Burbank Water and Power,

I'm now connected up and converting energy from the winter sun to electricity for my home. Furthermore, Nick helped me qualify for a nice rebate form BWP. Nick is honest, hardworking and trustworthy. I recommend Green Conception to anyone considering solar energy for their home or business.
