Amazing, fast, clean, and professional! We didn't have your standard roof replacement. We had some exposed wood beams that needed to be replaced as they were rotted. Upon removing the roof decking, even more rotten wood. It was quite bad. They regrouped, and have a very knowledgeable person, Sean who's a former GC fix the rotten studs and kept us on track. Extra cost was quite fair. I'm so glad I went with Great Way as they make sure the job is done right! About the crew: friendly, polite, fast, conscientious, clean, and professional! Cleaned up every day and took great care of our home! In the end, 2 1/2 days all done with all facia boards replaced!

Great Job, we definitely recommend.
We recently had the roof on our home re-done by GreatWay and we are very pleased. We got three bids, Shane was professional and responsive, after coming out to see the roof we had the bid in our email by the next day. Of the three bids, there were the best price (Roofs are not Cheap!) not only were they the best price, but the most responsive with follow up emails and phone calls. We were wait listed for I think 3 months, but it was worth it, the crew showed up the day scheduled on time and cleaned up after themselves each day and follow up phone calls to ensure that we were happy with progress and did we have any questions. Professional, efficient and Quality job... It was a Great Experience.

Update for 7/15/19 review.
Today I received a letter, along with the contract (which I already have)from GreatWay Roofing, reiterating their excuses for not honoring their 5 year Warranty. The letter explained the ""current leak was just outside their work area,"" absolving them of any responsibility. Actually, the four tiles were lined up against their ""work area."" Can't get any closer than that!
I am a victim of GreatWay's miscalculation of the 9/17 leak! as a result, the next rain season (2018-2019) caused a leak right next to the first leak! My decision for the repair was based on their professional assurance that they fixed the leak in 9/17.
The GreatWay General Manager and estimator conducted themselves in an intimidating and scary manner toward this senior citizen to get me to blame myself for making the wrong repair decision, along with absolving them of honoring the warranty. Now, GreatWay continues to harass me by sending additional correspondence, all for a $300 repair!
The professional and correct response would have been to apologize for their miscalculation and honor the warranty. I will never conduct business with them again and their harassment must stop!

We were referred to GreatWay Roofing by a friend who hired them a few years ago to replace their tile roof. Matt came out and gave us the option of keeping our tile instead of replacing it. This was great news because the total budget I had in mind came down a bit and overall I felt GreatWay's estimate was very fair. Matt took us through exactly what the installers were going to do and he said once the work started, they'd know if any damaged plywood would need to be replaced, in which case this should be the only additional cost not included in the initial estimate. The day of installation, the installers arrived promptly and introduced themselves to us.

The job took only two days and when they were finished, I walked the perimeter with Emilio so he could show me what they had done. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was no debris or trash left behind and our roof looked great! They even used a magnetic sweeper to get any nails that may have been left behind in the yard. Looking forward to a rainy season without any worry of my roof leaking. Thanks Matt, Emilio and the GreatWay Roofing team!

I recently hired Greatway Roofing to perform an overall maintenance program on my roof, which included cleaning, sealing, and most importantly replacement of damaged tiles on our 23 year old roof that might jeopardize the integrity of the critical underlayment.

They arrived promptly, did the work efficiently, were pleasant and responsive at all times, had onsite managerial supervision, and cleaned up at the end of the day.

A 5 star experience, and one worthy of recommendation for future work.

I would give these guys 6 starts if YELP enabled it. I had a flat roof that was very leak prone. After going through two roofs (both of which only lasted 5 years), I knew this time, I wanted something that was going to last and be done right. When I met with Greatway, Matt listened to all my concerns and expressed a sincere interest to not just give me another roof, but to ensure it was properly engineered to last. Working with Matt, we came up with a plan to remove the parapets that were blocking rainwater from exiting roof. We further also shaved flat areas was causing ""ponding"". I am well past 5 years and the roof has held up great! No leaks! The best part is I got a 10 year warranty on a flat roof (most roofers I talked to would only give a 5 year warranty) and I have the confidence of knowing that Greatway is going to be around to honor it if needed. Thanks Greatway!

We had a roof leak that was causing water damage inside the house. We were on their calendar, but they found a sooner window of time to get the job done before it rained that afternoon. Great customer service, efficient and thorough workmanship. I highly recommend them.

I'm a little late writing this but about a month or so ago we had GreatWay out to repair out tile roof. Matt came out to give an inspection before we bought this house and found it needed some repairs. After we moved in Matt came out again for another inspection and give a quote. Matt (and others in the office) have been extremely attentive and always responding to phone, email and text with info and to answer my silly questions....

Matt worked to accommodate our schedule so we could be home (we have 2 dogs). The crew arrived on the day and time scheduled. My wife was home and said the guys we all professional, courteous and clean leaving no trace that they were even here...

These repairs hopefully will last several years before needing a full replacement. At that time I'll have no problem using GreatWay again.

I wholeheartedly recommend using GreatWay for any roof issues and ask for Matt he was terrific!!!

Let's be honest, getting a new roof is no fun. I'd rather spend my money on almost anything other than a roof. But after 25+ years our house needed one. We got 4 bids in total, and during the process Matt from Greatway was the only person that kept contacting us to ask if we had any questions and to offer multiple options to us to find a way to fit our needs and our budget. His efforts earned him our business. His bid was detailed and understandable. After 25 years we expected damage that would be normal to an older roof. We worried about how those extra cost could add up once we were under way with the project, but Matt's bid clearly itemized those costs so we could fairly estimate our ""worst case"" scenario. Other bids did little or nothing to set our minds at ease. In the end we had almost no wood rot and the end price reflected those savings. We could not be happier. What?!... did I just say that about spending money on a roof?
Matt recommended and we install low profile roof vents designed to help protect our house from burning embers. Having survived the Thomas fire last year we eagerly accepted that advice. However the supply company sent out the wrong vents that did not have the fire shield protection. They looked the same to me. Rene the job foreman recognized the error immediately and informed me of the issue. They could have easily installed those vents and I may have never known, but honesty prevailed and Greatway did the right thing.
Now the actual work - I cannot say enough about Rene and his crew that showed up at 8am on a Monday and went to work. They started by making sure everything on the perimeter was as protected as possible. They removed the old roof by day's end. I'll be honest, it makes a mess removing an old roof, but by the time Rene and the crew left my yard and house looked like they had never been there. Wow!!! What a relief. Day 2 - Rene and the crew installed the new roof along with repairs to any wood rot found. By 4pm they were done and gone. Our house and yard was spotless. Rene was a great guy; during those 2 days, we spoke often and he kept us informed and explained the job to us.
It has been a pleasure to spend my money locally with such a fine group of people, and I highly recommend Greatway Roofing.

If you have a leaky roof, these are the guys to call! They have excellent customer service and are so upfront and honest about the pricing! They will layout all your options and not try and sell you what you don't need. They have excellent follow through without any pressure. They were on schedule and finished the work promptly , leaving the jobsite clean. I honestly can't comment yet on the quality of the work because it hasn't rained yet but I will update my recommendation once it does!
