I don't have any experience with this company's field work; but I have been deterred from using them based on my experience.

I inquired about a roof inspection/estimate. I was contacted and an appointment was set. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up. I called the number for the business and spoke with the person who was supposed to come out - Robert D. He told me there must have been a scheduling mix up and someone put my appointment in for the next day; he was on his way to a school pick-up. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him I could make time to meet the next day, instead.

The next day, no one shows up to the appointment time frame. I get no phone calls and no emails (both of which I provided). I decided to wait an hour after the appointment time frame and....nothing. To this day, I have not been contacted back.

I never got the chance to experience the services of this business, but this does not leave a good impression.

Kelsey was very informative on the phone. Robert was helpful and explained everything very thoroughly when he completed an inspection. Cody was my foreman and communicated with me the day before the job and was great the day of. He and Carlos were great. Cody showed me pictures before and after so i could see exactly what was done. I am so happy I chose Great Valley Roofing.

Robert at Great Valley Roofing was prompt, professional, and responsive from the start to finish. They fixed the portion of the roof that was leaking and cleaned and treated our roof from moss build up. Job well done. I would hire them again should the need arises.

The roof above our garage had severe dry rot, and the recent rain led to a leak inside our garage. Yikes!

So, I contacted six roofing companies on Yelp, all of whom were responsive to my request for an estimate. That was a huge relief since I wanted to get this fixed right away.

While I only met with two (GVR being one of them), Rob's knowledge and customer service made me cancel the other appointments and hire him immediately.

Similar to Chad W.'s experience, after speaking to Rob, I knew he was the right person for the job. He was thorough in his work, and I appreciate that he explained what was causing the leak by showing the photos he took. As it turned out, there was a lot of work to be done.

I received an education on the repair process and the quality materials GVR would use to ensure our roof would be protected. Good stuff!

On the day of the job, which happened the following day (thankfully), they showed up on time, were respectful, and cleaned up afterward. I'd say they spent 6+ hours working on that section of the roof.

Now, I'm sure those of you reading this review want to know: ""Is Great Valley Roofing worth hiring for my project?""

While I only had one other quote to compare with, I feel the quality of workmanship, superior materials, and excellent customer service that I received was worth way more than what he quoted me. It was excellent work at an excellent price!

After they were done, my neighbor across the street asked if they could do a roof inspection, so I hope this leads to more business for this small but rapidly growing local company.

Robert at GVR is fantastic. He is very responsive. He prides himself in being very communicative with his customers. He knows roofing and was able to respond and start the job fast. He kept us informed along the way. The looks good so far! We have a very low slope roof. Flat roofing material was our only option.

After the winter storms this past year, my roof started leaking. I requested a quote to repair my roof and Robert came out to check things out. He was very timely and thorough and explained everything my roof needed. I appreciated that he gave me the facts and multiple options for me to fix it- I could do a small temporary repair or a full replacement. I am very pleased so far with this business and I will be updating my review as soon as my roof is repaired.
