I needed some minor repairs done on my roof and I got an outrageous estimate that seemed like a complete ripoff from a different roofer. When I spoke to Mike, he right away made an impression like a squared away guy that gets it, and I knew he was the guy I was looking for. He completed required repairs at a fraction of the price quoted buy another BS roofer, and I couldn't be happier. I know who to call for future roof repairs!

What a great price! But the bottom line is how the job was done. Mike Collins is a true professional in every aspect of his work. I talked to a few other contractors around town, first of all they acted as if I just fell off the turnip truck, not so with Mr. Collins. He saw to it that the roof on my apartment building got done before the storm came in.my tenants called me to say thanks for hiring him ,and that he completely cleaned everything up when the job was done.Do I recommend great American and Mike Collins YES!

I am just not sure what happened here. I called, the guy came to my house a couple of days later and gave me a bid. There was no haggling, and an agreement was made to return the following week. 2 weeks later, I called back, just asking for an update...no answer. Same drill for 2 more weeks, called, left message, no return call.

I'm OK if they just tell me the jobs too small, they're too busy, or he just did not like me. But shouldn't I get the courtesy of an answer? It's just rude and unprofessional, and I don't understand, after all the great reviews, why me? I was nice, I didn't try to beat him over the price. I just said thank you, see you next week.

Mike from Great American Roofing is an outstanding business man. After reviewing some small issues that appeared on our home inspection report, he instructed my husband where to buy the materials and how to fix the issue himself. He came over to give an estimate within an hour of being called, and did not take a dime for the transaction. We were absolutely blown away by his knowledge of how to repair it and willingness to teach! It is an awesome thing to find a business that is solely dedicated to helping its community, and not prioritizing the dollar. Thank you so much Mike and Great American Roofing!

I had a small section on my roof and eve that appeared to be an issue. Mike came out to take a look and offered a very simple and easy fix to it that I was able to do on my own. He knew I had no idea what I was looking at and could have suggested a costly and unnecessary fix - instead he was upfront and honest about it. I won't hesitate to use Great American Roofing when it's time to replace my current roof.

Just happened to meet Mike at a local roofing supply company and he very generously provided detailed instructions on how I can fix my roof myself. Even offered to have me call him while I was doing the work for step by step instructions- no charge. Who does that ???

My husband and I were going to put our own gutters on, you know, the pre-fabricated plastic ones you buy at the big box store.

Then we started thinking, do we want all of those seams all around our garage?

That's when we decided to do some research and called, based on other Yelp reviews.

Mike, the owner, came out, gave us a price, which was VERY reasonable, and said he could install them the very next week.

Well, they were installed today and they are GORGEOUS! Completely seamless and perfectly installed.

My husband and I couldn't be happier and highly recommend this company to anyone looking for gutters done right at a very fair price!

The News Media was warning everyone that there was a big storm coming and going to last a week. Then I suddenly heard something crawling around in my attic. Turns out it was a squirrel who made a hole in my roof looking for a place to hibernate during the storm, namely my attic. So I needed that area repaired as well as other areas that needed some tiles replaced. I called three other roofing companies and there was a two to three month wait. Mike from Great American Roofing was there the same day I called! Job done in one day! Whether if it rains or not I can live in peace of mind now. Thanks Mike!

I called GAR to get a third estimate because money as well as quality was a factor. Not only was the estimate less but the quality of work was superior. Mike took the time to meet with me and go over the estimate to make sure I understood what I was getting. He took the time to make sure my garage didn't get messed up because he was doing the roof above my garage and if he didn't put plastic down to protect all my stuff it would have been a big clean up project for me. He finished the work on time and went beyond the estimate to fix my rain gutter which was not installed properly the first time. You will be happy with GAR. Mike stands behind his work and his estimate.
