Hired Goode Brothers to examine my roof because of some water damage around the porch. Had recently purchased home. Two other roofing companies barely looked at roof and started hard-selling me ( an older female) to immediately run my credit and sign a contract to reroof the entire home. I may note that as part of buying this home I'd had a roof inspection and it passed. Goode Brothers pointed out that I did have leak where previous owner added a porch with overhang, and it just needed to be sealed. I paid a fraction of quotes to replace my roof, and there was no high pressure sale tactics.

I had a minor repair need. Goode Brothers Seamless Gutters is a catchy name as are their radio commercials. I visited their website and they speak of their clients as being, not clients, but ""neighbors"". You, or at least I did, get a sense of a company who is heartfelt and cares about you, but no.
My minor repair encompassed a soffit that ultimately needed six screws to hold the tracking. The tracking in turn holds the soffit panels in place.
Their technician rang the door bell at 8:25 am. He looked at the problem and said ""I can fix this."" Ten minutes later at 8:35 he was done.
He told my wife and I that he needed to call the office to find out the cost of the repair. He returned saying the repair cost $300.
My wife and I chuckled and asked for the cost again, so I could write the check. He repeated the cost is $300. We were shocked. We disputed the cost.
He negotiated saying, ""If you write a check right now it will be $200.""
It was then, I realized we were dealing with scoundrels. A company that would take advantage of the their ""neighbors"".
I called the Better Business Bureau. The Bureau told me that they were not surprised due to the fact that Goode Brothers Seamless Gutters had a Better Business rating of D-. In addition they told me that there were two active complaints against them, which they were dodging.
This is an actual email I received from the owner Ashley Goode:
""Ok he said you said to fix it ""it does not matter what it cost"" we have a minimum 300 change I can take 100 since he did not discuss with you prior, and I am considering letting him go now since this is his second complaint like this, please let me know if you think that is appropriate.""
Be smart and avoid this company.

This is a bit overdue, but I did want to make sure the work held up and if there were any issues that Goode Brothers would be responsive. It's now been several storms and a couple of months post repair on a roof that is under six years old. I got several estimates before I hired Goode Brothers. They were not the cheapest or most expensive estimate but provided a warranty on their work and I felt very confident hiring them because Quentin was very patient in explaining exactly what needed to be done and Ashley was responsive to a few other questions I had after his visit. The work was scheduled, completed within a day and the area left spotless. Last week I heard some very strange sound coming from the roof and while it was a sunny day, we'd recently had a very bad storm that came with high winds and hail. I contacted Goode Brothers on Friday and scheduled someone to come out today. It was Quentin and, I was very happy to see him. It turned out to be a needless visit as all is in order and it was probably a critter making all that noise, but I really appreciated how quickly Goode Brothers responded to ease my mind. It's nice to know that after you've paid a bill for service that a company will stand behind their work. I would have no reservations referring them to friends, family, and neighbors.

We needed to add gutters to our home. We got 4 estimates. Not only did Goode Brothers come in at the best estimate they did an absolutely outstanding job! To begin with with office was extremely friendly and professional in scheduling the estimate and installation time and date. They were on time to perform the estimate and the person doing the estimate (one of the owners) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions in detail.
On the day of the installation the installers (Jae and Brett) were even here early and were ready to go. They started with a quick walk around the house explaining exactly what they were going to do and where they recommended the downspouts - based on the optimal function of the gutters during water flow - and they were very willing to work with me on adjusting any of those locations, given it would not impact the proper water flow through the gutters. Jae and Brett were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable and skilled regarding the gutter installation. They even helped fix a couple of issues we had with existing gutters around our pool. They also informed us of a potential problem issue regrading palm limbs rubbing on our roof shingles. Before they left they asked if we had any questions or issues with the work and they completely cleaned up all the materials.
This experience working with them on the estimate and the gutter installation was a seamless, easy, friendly, and informative process. The gutters greatly improved the look of our home, and improved the flow of water off the roof. Jae and Brett did a fantastic job!
I highly recommend Goode Brothers - Experienced, Skilled, Friendly, and Professional. Our expectations were greatly exceeded!

I would Not recommend this company. They do not follow through on anything. They ""forgot"" about the appointment to get an estimate. Then they were late to give the estimate. Sure forgivable. We got a confirmation text for Wednesday April 7th. One week later got another one changing the date to the 6th. After showing them the original message and reminding them they ""rembered"" and Wednesday was no problem. I call them at 12:30 today to get an eta and am surprised to find out my wife had cancelled. Well no she hadn't but at that point I certainly did. Whoever runs that office displays classic signs of a heavy weed-smoker. She has no memory and can't remember who is scheduled. I will find somebody reliable to do the job rather than wasting another day off. I really expected more from a company that claims to be Veteran owned. Get your stuff together!

Called Goode Brothers for a quote for roof and gutter repair. Arrived about hour late for appointment. Had no ladder (used mine) to get up and view problems. Indicated to me that they could definitely fix and would get quote to me that evening. That was a week ago today. I have called and spoken with girls in office. Left my call back info - did this twice and have yet to hear from anyone. Be careful when selecting this company. NOT GOOD!

My gutters are leaking between the trim and gutters. Multiple calls and never got to talk to owners. Always some saying they'll give Ashley the message. Down spouts had to be completed by paved installers and family. We are in our 70's and not able to complete the job on our own. Not happy with customer service.

I paid a ton of money to have them come out and seal up my gutters, which were leaking into the carport. They showed up, and were nice and everything. The guy said right before they left, that everything was fixed, fine, and I would have no more problems.
BUT .... the leaks STILL leak.
I called back 3 times to let them know, and each time, they said someone would call me back. They NEVER called back. I think I wasted my money.

Goode Brothers did a fantastic job on front gutters.. Hoping they will return to do the rest of the house.. Waiting for a call or message to set up a date and time.. Highly recommend them for gutter work...Bill & Sharon 530 Virginia Ave. Port Orange. Florida

Wonderful service. Had gutters installed. Sales rep was informative, knowledgeable, and professionally dressed. Estimate was a good price. Installers were knowledgeable and professional. When job was completed, you never knew they were here. Cleaned up everything.
