Good guys did an excellent job in repairing my roof. The scope of work is for half roof.
They are pretty responsive and the work is neatly done, right on schedule. They even helped in fixing issues in other part of the roof, which was not in their work scope.
I highly recommend Good Guys!

We are very happy with the quick response when there is another roof leak after the first major repairs. Sam came over twice to fix the problem without charging us for anything. He is so nice and professional. We would really like to recommend to our friends for their great workmanship.

Jacob told me a lot of tall tales throughout the whole estimate. He knocked on to door and told me there was water damage leaking fr somewhere over the front porch next to the stucco. Every rm he went to, he exclaimed ea long crack along the edge of the walls was water damage. Yet there was no water stains there. His stories were so over the top. Jacob said in the upstairs master bedrm w it's cathedral ceiling had water leaking fr behind ceiling wall and it's a wonder that the ceiling hadn't caved in on me. Then he said exact same thing happened to another person he gave estimate to. Said person didn't get leak fixed by his co and ceiling fell on his garage and crushed his car. Wow okay this is fantastical. In the stairwell he said the drywall tape sticking out fr the wall and screws were signs of water behind there pushing against the wall. I used a moisture meter to test all the areas he said had water there. All the readings were normal range. Jacob was trying to stir up sense of urgency w these wild stories to get me to sign on w his co. He went about how everywhere in house behind the walls, it was leaking acc to him. I'd called them bc I did have an active leak in the bedrm ceiling/wall. He did have some tech knowledge about the sci behind roofs that told me about. He was very much the high pressure salesperson acting like everyone was his good friend. He said look at the paint in the corner at highest pt of the ceiling above stairs, see how it's a diff shade. That's water leak damage. Later when a diff roof co estimator shows up, I ask this other estimator about all the wild stories Jacob had told me and this other roof estimator said those cracks Jacob saying were signs of water leak is totally erroneous. A crack is not a sign of water leak. A water stain is. In the middle of the estimate about an hr in, Jacob asks me to write him a gd Yelp review. I just met this guy and he asking me this? It's 2 hrs into his estimate and he's still talking. This time he gets on the phone and calls up one of his head foreman's. He says hey can the guy do him and customer me a favor. I didn't agree to have his co so the leak fix or tile reset and Jacob is already acting like a done deal? Talk about pressuring the customer. Looking at the clock and realizing the next roof estimator is coming soon at 530pm. Jacob been here for 2.5 hrs by this pt. Jacob quotes me some prices. Luckily w get interrupted by the 2nd roof co estimator show up at 530pm which is the co I end up sign with. Jacobs prices look kind of higher to me. In the end Jacob ghosted me and didn't send an estimate. I never call him to ask for it bc fr my view he way oversold himself and obviously thought bc I was female I didn't know the basic about things to do w. the house and water leaks. It was almost a little insulting that he would think I would be so ignorant to believe to his exaggerated stories of water leaking. The whole time I was thinking is this guy for reals. It was like he putting on a show for me. It was somewhat entertaining bc he was animated in his talking. In the end not sincere, not believable at all. I don't recommend this co.

These guys are good! Literally! Great response time, quick, friendly, and informative site visit. They completed the roofing job early and i am a very happy customer- thanks again!

Jacob had visited my home and inspected my whole house (included attic). Then I decided to replace the roof from his Good Guys. Jacob and his team were really fast with quote, very responsive and gave us a great price. His team did everything on schedule. Highly recommend!

*They did not actually replace our roof, so my review is not based on quality of work.
I actually wasn't going to leave a review, but after reading some other comments, decided to add mine in as well. I contacted Good Guys for a quote back in November 2022, they responded quickly and efficiently, and Jacob came out to my property right away. What I thought would have been a 10-15 minute conversation and assessment of our roofing needs, turned into 2-hour trap. It felt like a bit of a rehearsed show. He finally gave me a ballpark number when I started to pressure timing as I had things to do. He then started calling his manager, asking for a discount, and his manager said they're really backed up right now... etc. He'll need to check some things and will call back. I was starting to lose it by now, so he called his manager back and he responded that his colleage has a project down the street, if you can install within 2-4-days, then they can work something out etc etc.
At this point, it was well over 2 hours, the sun is starting to set, and I'm just tired standing outside as they put on what felt like a show. Perhaps it wasn't, and he was doing his due diligence, so I asked if they can please just email me their final quote after they all talk to each other internally. But I heard nothing from them. Ghosted. What a waste of my whole afternoon.

This review is only for the quote received from Jacob Hashimi.
I got reroofing quotes from 4 companies. One of them used drones and 2 others did climb the roofs to provide quote. Jacob is only one who did a thorough inspection both by climbing the roof and also checking from attic. He discovered my roof is made of skip sheathing and lacked plywood which would cost $7K more. Plywood was recommended as I was planning on having Solar Panels installed on my roof.
I asked the other roofing companies if my roof has plywood and came back with an yes. I went with other roofing company and found that there is no plywood on the day of roofing. I had plywood installed going by the earlier recommendation of Jacob.
I highly recommend Jacob for your roofing projects as he is diligent in providing accurate and competitive quotes.

After reading Emmeline T's review, I too wanted to chime in with my experience. I contacted this company for an inspection of my roof. They were very responsive to the initial call and arrived on time for the inspection. The salesman (not a roofer I don't think) gave the impression that the roof was in horrible shape and that the flat roof needed to fully replaced. I'm not sure if he was just upselling the job but the roof is a little over 16 years old now. I did have follow-up questions regarding the estimate and asked for a further break down. I did not receive any replies to these subsequent requests just like how the other got no responses. Very unprofessional. I believe I spoke to Dennis. Do not want to waste your time especially if you want things clarified.

If you don't want to waste your time and potentially get ghosted by the company, I would highly suggest going with a different company. I'm hoping that this situation has only happened to me because it would be unfortunate and unprofessional to have this happen to more than one customer. The series of events that happened:
1. I needed a roof repair due to some leaks I saw from the rain and scheduled for a roof inspection some time in mid December. The person scheduling the appointment gave me a time range (I think it was like 2-4pm) that the inspector will come.
2. Jacob calls me the day of my inspection that he will probably come closer to 4pm because of some delays from his earlier appointment. I appreciate the heads up so I don't have to wait for 2 hours before his arrival. Jacob inspects my unit and seemed pretty thorough with the inspection. At the end of the inspection, he tells me that I should expect an email from him either later that day or the following day with a quote for the project. I did feel like he was trying to upsell me a much larger project (completely replacing all the tiles on my roof) than just a roof repair. However, I was just curious to see what his report would say in his inspection report + quote.
3. I did not receive anything in my email and tried texting Jacob for an update. He did not text me back so I decided to call him for an update. He told me he was busy and promised me he would email me his report + quote later that day. I decided to trust his words on it.
4. Several days passed and still did not receive anything from Jacob. I decided to call Good Guys Construction for and update and they said they would follow up with Jacob and give me an update ""as soon as possible. Never heard back from them after my call.
5. Giving Jacob and Good Guys Construction the benefit of the doubt and still trusting their word, I decide to text Jacob again for an update. Unfortunately, I got ghosted by him.
I'm not sure why I didn't decide to just go with another company after I got ghosted by Jacob the first time. I've added a screenshot of how I was ignored by Jacob twice. This is probably the most unprofessional company I've encountered and I would suggest you go elsewhere with your business!

They responded to our phone call very quickly and came with a reasonable estimate. The work was done professionally and cleanly. We are sure we'll call them again if our roof needs to repair in the future.
