Ken is a superstar! After a devastating fire that destroyed the second floor & roof of our home and left extensive smoke and water damage to the remainder of the structure, we needed an amazing contractor to take on our major restoration project. Fortunately, we knew of Ken through family connections and were aware of his extensive history in roofing and restoration work. We hired Ken to do our restoration primarily because we knew about Ken's strong work ethic, integrity, heart for people, and commitment to excellence. When it is time to recover from a disaster it is critical that you know that you are putting your trust into good, reliable, honest, and capable hands. We were blessed with peace of mind through the entire process because Ken had our project. Ken is an excellent communicator, he listened carefully to what we wanted, keeping us well informed and advising us through the whole process. He was also diligent and dedicated to every aspect of the job. At every step, we knew where we stood, what choices were available to us, which ones Ken recommended and why. This was extremely valuable and helpful as he steered us in the right direction while allowing us to make the choices we wanted. The house needed extensive reframing, roofing, all new windows, electrical, water and gas plumbing, and HVAC. Ken had multiple subcontractors for every category and was able to get us the best price/quality through competitive bids and the strength of his contractor relationships. When it came to our selections on paint, trim, doors, flooring, fixtures Ken was very patient and then made sure we got what we wanted even when we changed our mind. At first all I wanted was to get back what I had lost. But Ken helped me to see improvements that could be made that would enhance the beauty, function, and value of our home. The whole project took about a year, but we are absolutely blown away and thrilled by our restored home. We had the best experience possible with Ken and Good Contractors Roofing and Restoration. We highly recommend him for any size project. You cannot go wrong with Ken! We needed some roof repair after the storms in DFW last week. Ken was able to come out and inspect/repair the roof today. great service and affordable price. He didn't try to sell us on roof replacement, just honest work. Highly recommend!
