Very good service and prompt response. Affordable solutions for my home. Check them out!

Love the company and culture . Couldn't ask for a better organization to be a part of

I am very surprised to read of negative experiences. We started working with Gomez during severe state hurricane damage and while they informed us there would be a delay, they sent a crew out to patch any leaks. Joe quoted us a price that was never changed and actually reduced because they needed less materials. The workers were polite, skilled and cleaned up well.
The experience was so positive, we just completed a new roof installation at my father's house in Delray. They did the same thing of patching to prevent damage and then completed the job (a little late for the tiles given storm impact in the area.
Lisa is extremely professional managing the pffice and always prompt in returning calls and tracking down whatever is necessary. They are very knowledgeable with POAs, which helped a lot in our two projects.
I would highly recommend.

Stay Away! Their front man is a liar and a con. The workmanship was sloppy at best. The 1st crew for tear-off left the pool uncovered and thus nails and roof debris were left in the pool . the 2nd crew, which is subcontracted by Gomez to deliver the tiles did not completely cover the driveway . Most of the fallen or thrown down debris landed on the plastic centered driveway covering. At clean up time they actually turned over the plastic and emptied all of the debris on to my driveway. It was horrifying ! I then supervised a cleanup with a hose as it all drained into our street drain which empties into our lake. The 3rd crew slapped on the tiles, left foam and 6 unfinished corners as well a lot of debris on the property. They proceeded with blowers to blow nails, roof debris, foam, and a razor into my landscaping. You would have to see it to believe it! I made them clean it up. Their supervisor had an excuse for everything. When they were finally done and we were rid of them we brought in a clean up crew. Do not even get an estimate from these people! Their slick Con artist frontman will give you a price and then write a higher price on the contract. Many lessons learned! When you shop at Saks Fifth Avenue , you do not go to Walmart. Do not go near these people!!!

I had my flat roof done with them 11 years ago and it was a fantastic experience, that is why I decided to go with them again. Unfortunately, this time I was sorry I went with them. It took them three weeks to finish the job. The workers themselves were clean and respectful, but the miscommunication within the staff in the office was awful. My contact was Mike Gomez. I never heard from him again. Turned out he quit a month after I signed the contract with them. No one called to follow up after taking my deposit. Weeks went by, I called it turned out they have the permit approved. Stephan called me to tell me, they will start the work on a Wednesday, and the workers showed up on Tuesday. I asked Stephan to please communicate with me because my mother lives alone and I need to be informed who is coming to the house. That was the first incident.
I was not told that the gutters were going to be removed and they would not replace them. I asked Stephan to let me know if they can keep the old gutters. I did not get a call. I found out when I saw the old gutters in the garbage truck. That was the second time. At this point, I was told that I have to pay another company for the gutters. I asked to see if they can recommend a company to give a quote. I waited days, but I never got the information, until I requested the info again.
The inspector showed up at my mother's house to inspect the roof that was done the day before, but there was no ladder so he could not inspect it. The Inspector was pretty annoyed, I was too since I didn't know what was happening. After that day, it took them three weeks to finish the job. I had to call several times to find out when was the inspector coming back. The company sent someone to put a ladder in front of the property for the inspector that never showed. I received a notice from the homeowners association to remove the ladder it has been there for a week and a half. I didn't get any updates, from the company, Mona will say I will call tomorrow with an update from the engineer, but that call never happened. I decided to call every day to find out any updates. Stephan called me and told me the city has changed what they usually request and the hold-up was because of the city. I understood that and all I asked to for them to keep me informed. Days went by, and nothing.
Another gentleman Mike, 3rd week called to ask me what color shingles I wanted I told him I have already picked the shingle with Stephan, apparently again the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. At this point, I have been very disappointed with everything. I told Mike it had taken three weeks, Mike seemed to be surprised by that. He said he did not my house was not finished yet. He said if he would have known, he would have finished it way earlier. I am grateful to Mike he communicated with me and he did what he said he was going to do. The job finally got done. Of course, I received text after text, and phone calls after phone calls to collect the final payment. I made the payment two days later. I would have liked to make them wait three weeks but I am a responsible consumer. If they were as efficient to follow up with customers as they are collecting money, I would not be writing this awful review. By the way, they finally gave the gutter company contact. The Gutter crew, and they were wonderful. Chase did what he said he was going to do. I will highly recommend The Gutter Crew.
Unfortunately, I can't say that for Gomez Roofing anymore. I am very disappointed. I understand they are things out of their control, things happened, but communication is totally under their control.

I used Gomez Roofing to install a new slate tile roof on my single story waterfront home in Lighthouse Point. IT was a large roof.
With Gomez Roofing you are dealing directly with the owner Joe and his family. I had one issue that was aesthetics, not structural, and Joe had his team fix it without any issues.
Before hiring Gomez I used them for a fairly large repair that no other company would do. Being that he made the repair, I hired him for the whole roof.
It was fast and priced very competitively. Two thumbs up!
