First off, the final roofing product was fantastic and I have no doubt the quality was as good as anyone else would do. The reason I am so impressed with them is for reasons that are important as you look for a contractor:
1. They stuck to the schedule that they gave us and showed up when they were supposed to
2. They were very neat even though it was by nature an extremely messy project that took nine days.
3. They took very good care to be good neighbors for us. In fact, our next-door neighbors commented to us about how nice and polite they were in asking to make sure they weren't blocking anyone's driveway.
4. They worked smoothly with our solar contractor to ensure that both jobs were done correctly.

My roof was leaking, the source was unknown. I messaged 5 companies for help locating and fixing the leak.

The good: Jesus was quick to respond to my Yelp request, and had good communication thru the website. Made an appointment at the first opportunity, and he showed up exactly on time. He was respectful toward me and my property. I went on the roof with him to learn as much as I could, and he was good at explaining what he was doing and why. He explained some things to me which made me feel I could do the rest of the patching myself.

Not so good: He charged me his minimum fee of $350, stayed less than half an hour and used about $5 worth of brown caulking on a few spots he thought might be the source of the water intrusion. After he left, I used what product I had to patch many more spots that looked suspicious. A few days later, the roof was leaking just as much as before he and I patched it. I feel like I basically wasted $350.

Not his fault: This virus scare is making it difficult for anyone to do much of anything, and this rain is keeping all of the roofers quite busy lately.

I needed an immediate roof inspection for a real estate transaction and the inspector met my needs in a timely fashion. Appointment within 24 hours and report within the next day after. Definitely recommend and looking forward to work with them again.

I didn't get these father and son team but they arrived on the appointed time, explained to me in detail the problem and how they'll fix it. Jose, the son, was very patient in explaining the issues about the roof leak. If the HOA didn't take care of the leak, I will definitely consider this company.

I scheduled an estimate appointment with Gomez roofing, and an hour after my scheduled time I tried calling...No answer... so I sent a message via yelp, which is the way I scheduled the appointment, and then got a response that he was too busy today, so he wouldn't be making it out. Just wasted my time!!! BAD BUSINESS!

I had Gomez Roofing come out and look at my project. They stated they would have a quote on my project by Monday afternoon. It's Wednesday now. Guess they don't want the job since they never called or emailed. Waste of my time.
