They showed up exactly when they said they would, and did the complete project (tear off, install and permitting with passed inspection) in less than 3 days. Communication was great with the entire team and they cleaned up during the entire project. They left zero mess behind. Highly recommend this company for a new roof.

We found Golden Height Roofing on Yelp to deal with some minor water damages to our home. They recommended us to redo our entire roof and they would fix the internal damage for free.

They completed the roof replacement during the rain season, and had our uncovered roof exposed to light rain. The work quality and service were not as expected, instead of replacing vents as stated in the contract they spray painted existing ones and then left the spray paint cans on the roof. We had to notify them for replacement, but they then had to cut away at the newly layed roof to replace new vents. There were also puddles of liquid sitting on the new layed roof, that reeked of urine.

3 day after the completion of our new roof, we experienced water leaking from the ceiling during an active rain. The water damage into our home was worse than the original problem, resulting in over $10,000 in interior water damage.

We requested a refund, they claimed there were no issues with the roof and were not responsible for damages. Through the yelp guarantee they contacted the owner to resolve the issue. We met with him and he asked for a second chance to make repairs, we declined and requested a refund. He offered a discount and then ignored all calls, texts, and emails. After over 6 month of contacting Yelp and the company, we were allotted a small discount. We had to hire new contractors and utilize our homeowner insurance to make repairs for the damages.

After receiving several quotes from other local roofing companies I found Golden Heights Roofing to be the most complete in their bid. They were not the least expensive however they were not the most expensive when comparing on price for an alike project. What set them apart was their approach to answering questions. My estimator John explained the current condition of my roof, talked through some changes needed to meet current code and sent the estimate within a few hours. There was no up sell to replace rain gutters in great condition (like other roof bids I received.) He also invited me (optional) to meet at their office to discuss roofing materials and what to expect in the project milestones before I committed to hiring them to replace my roof. I also had solar that I needed to coordinate the removal and other timing restraints which they were flexible in accommodating in their production schedule. Their payment schedule is clear to understand based on progress of the project. My project manager Hadas was there every step of the way. She checked-in daily in-person, followed up by text or a phone call and was back on site as needed. The demo and installation team lead by Allen were great to work with. He confirmed where to place new roof vents so that they would not interfere with the solar re-install and very accommodating to delete an old unused heater exhaust vent and install permanent roof safety anchor brackets (Fall Arrest / Protection for the solar installers to use during re-installation.) All the flashing, venting and brackets were painted to match. Their workmanship is top shelf and the new roof looks Great! The customer service from Golden Heights Roofing far exceeded my expectations before the sale, throughout the project and upon completion.
