A new roof is a major undertaking. Like many homeowners, I put off replacing mine for years...and then the rains came, and I needed help fast. Fortunately, Golden Coast was there. Max was wonderful, quickly presenting me with repair options as well as quotes for a new roof. No pressure, just helpful information. I opted for a new roof and I couldn't be happier with the result. Prompt, quality work at a fair price by honest professionals who know what they're doing. The new roof looks fantastic. I thought getting a new roof would be a nightmare. After getting numerous quotes to remove and replace my tile roof and install new underlayment, I choose Golden Coast Roofing; and here's why.
Max, the owner, does business the old-fashioned way. His word is Golden (pun intended). His promises were all kept and there were no ""surprises"", as he promised. Clearly his intent is to build up long term relationships with his customers; like I said, the old-fashioned way of doing business.
As a senior, i appreciate his honesty, integrity and his straight forward approach to business. His foreman Gerber and the rest of his crew are top notch, polite, hard working and show their pride in workmanship with their attention to detail. I can go on and on but suffice to say.......I highly recommend them.

If you're a property owner, replacing or repairing a roof is never an easy topic to digest.

From interviewing contractors, coordinating bid/assessments, scheduling work dates, moving tenants, moving/protecting interior assets, making payments, and following up to ensure the project is managed and completed in a timely fashion.... the list of tasks can be overwhelming and cause a ton of unanticipated stress (you're probably getting more stressed just reading this paragraph).

Why am I sharing these facts?

Well... besides the interviewing process of 5 contractors (which I'm trying to save you the burden of enduring), Max and the Golden Coast Roofing team eliminated EVERY stressful hurdle I could possibly anticipate.

From a "" business personality"" perspective, Max was by far the easiest contractor to interact with during the assessment/bidding process. He provided me with multiple options and clearly explained the differences so I could make the best decision moving forward. I didn't have to chase him for answers, and he didn't chase or pressure me for a decision. That sort of professional confidence and follow-through speaks volumes to me from a consumer's perspective.

From a ""quality of work"" perspective, Max and his team are hands down the most proficient contractors I've worked with in over 30 years. They handled all project scheduling, permits, tenant interaction, asset protection, and cleanup in a timely and reasonable fashion. At no time did I find myself micro-managing or feeling at a loss for facts and updates on the project.

Again, I'm amazed at the high level of efficiency in which Golden Coast Roofing operated from start to finish on my (2) building/roofs. What more, they have the BEST rates coupled with the BEST labor/materials warranty I could find.

In summary, choosing Max & the Golden Coast Roofing team turned out to be an excellent decision in saving me time, stress, and money. I hope you'll benefit from learning about my own personal experience

Max and his team are TOP notch. My neighbor used Golden Coast for his new roof and was happy with him. So I first used him for a larger job on an older 7 unit apartment building. His quote was reasonable, but more importantly - I immediately felt comforted with his knowledge and expertise. He suggested things for my building that 3 other contractors I received bids from did not. Yet his quote was in line with or more reasonable than the 3 competing bids. As he did the work he sent me regular updates, passed inspection and completed on time. He didn't nickel and dime me on additional work and he shared pics as the job was being done. I was so pleased that I had him replace the roof on my house too, and that job was completed quickly and flawlessly too. Use these guys - they are honest, hard working and reasonable. I have no personal connection to this company, I am just a big fan of small business that are out there doing good, honest, expert work.

This is a revised review to a rating of 5 after further discussion with Max. The company has guaranteed that should the leak recur they will fix the problem with no additional cost to me. They guarantee their work 100%.

We have a roof leak and I contacted several roofers to inspect the problem and provide an estimate. Golden Coast Roofing responded quickly, scheduled the inspection and provided the cost of repair. They took pictures of the roof and explained clearly what they will do, they also provided their proposal in writing. I selected them over 3 others because they were very professional and clear in communication. They came on time to fix the roof and completed the work as scheduled and took pictures. However, the big test for the roof soundness will be the next big rain!
I would highly recommend them.

We discovered a leak after the torrential December storms and were alarmed since our roof was only two years old. I looked on our neighborhood app for a recommendation and Gold Coast Roofing was recommended. I called my usual three companies for bids. Golden Roof had the best bid and were able to complete the work in a timely manner. The crew came in and did the work. The area where they worked was immaculate after they completed the roofing repair. If you need a new roof or a repair, please call this company!
