If you're worried that you'll need a roof replacement first in order to do solar don't worry Gold Rush can bundle it together. We were very impressed with the roof replacement we got from them just prior to getting the 5+kw solar system installed by them. I was pleased with the GAF shingles they used, the attic venting they added, and the new flashing they used everywhere. They don't cut corners and their roofing crew is very knowledgable. I'm super glad we went with Gold Rush and looking forward to years of utility cost savings over time.

The Gold Rush team installed a solar panel array and battery system at our home. They were very communicative and responsive throughout the process, and admirably persistent in the face of a nitpicky and disruptive rotating cast of inspectors. There were a few minor hiccups with paperwork/plans, but Gold Rush addressed those quickly when they arose.
Once the system was in place and we had permission to operate, the analytics in my Enphase app weren't making sense. We were able to correct the underlying issues over the course of three follow-up site visits and several hours of troubleshooting with Enphase customer service reps. I now have a system that is working fabulously!

tl;dr - Gold Rush has been responsive, and demonstrated a commitment to addressing issues right up through the end. Would definitely recommend!

Highly professional and knowledgeable crew. These guys made everything a breeze from start to finish. Adam was attentive and always answered any questions I had in a timely manner. Had a minor issue with the inverter not working properly at first, but they responded immediately and resolved it. Would enthusiastically recommend these guys to anyone looking for solar.

Contract signed in May, still no permit. In 5 months, everything should have been completed. I've had solar installed at homes in the past, installation should start by 12 weeks at the latest, we're at 20 weeks. I should have done more research and gone with a company whose done a lot more business.

Let me first start off by saying a huge THANK YOU to Adam, Brian and their team for really working my installation and for setting the bar super high for any future work I may need at my home! They really did go above and beyond with planning / changing and executing the installation of my system to match my garage perfectly even when the layout of my garage was not cooperating. Although my business with Gold Rush Energy Solutions started when ordering a whole home backup system from the Tesla.com website, after their attention to detail, my business with Gold Rush Energy Solutions is far from over. This was a large system to include 4 Tesla Power Wall batteries, 2 Tesla Inverters, a Tesla Gateway, a 225amp Subpanel addon to move the entire house off of the main ""grid"" breaker and 33 Tesla solar panels on the roof.

The team showed up on time (actually early) each day, greeted me and laid out the ""plan of the day"" each time. Some task were challenging because of the limitations of space they were working with, the layout / angle of my floor, the law requirements and I even placed a couple of ""oh by the way can you"" special request in too. All required and requested work was done and for that I thank the team again.

Adam hung around later than expected (asking me if it was okay) because he didn't want to leave without working some of the kinks out, he even took some mental work home with him, my garage floor was at a constant down grade which made mounting the second set of batteries to the first two already mounted, almost impossible. He came back with the material needed to make a secure angle deck, painted it to match my garage trim and even threw the correct color Rust Oleum floor chips as an added benefit. You can't even tell that the deck was not part of the original flooring. The devices were all mounted with clean lines of symmetry and functionality.

Brian and Adam did an amazing job mapping my electrical system, adding ""new technology"" to my home both internal to the garage and external to units such as my air conditioners. Both consistently did test and checks and Brian stayed behind to fully commission my system. There was some communication with Tesla that needed to be done as the system was not ""firmware"" updated, but Brian did well with navigating that issue for me before leaving.

The crew cleaned up any and all items they came with or the waste product of the job, I think they may have even cleaned up some of my waste production as well, thanks guys, but really the job was neatly done and cleaned up as well. They patched up the external holes made for running the conduit / pipes and even painted them to match the side of my home. Long story just to say if I'm in need of any electrical work or as I understand it they have other trade lines as well. I will be reaching out to them.
