Vess and his team (office and roofers) are absolutely wonderful. Not the most expensive and not the cheapest but knowledgeable and quality work. There is always competition and difficulty booking roofers during winter and spring. I waited for GM Roofing and it was well worth the wait. In addition to dealing with the City, repairing termite eaten wood, both a shingled and flat roof replacement and repairing eves these guys finished on time and stayed on budget. My favorite part of working with GM Roofing was the clean up - at the end of each day they cleaned up the yard and removed all debris. I would recommend GM Roofing to anyone!! Call them if you have a roofing concern.

My husband wrote this. When GM Roofing finished our roof replacement recently, we felt we were on top of the world. The crew did a fine job, the price was fair, and we've had compliments on how good the roof looks.

The crew of seven knew what they were doing, with everyone seemingly in concert to do the job right. They worked energetically and projected a passion for hard work. Without doubt, they managed their time efficiently; there was no smoking on the job, no loud music, no beer or vulgar language. The crew was relaxed, friendly and easy to deal with, and made us feel they take pride in their work.

Behind this great team are Vess, and Debra. Vess incorporated many of the contract revisions we proposed. On the other hand, Debra was so efficient, e-mailing us back and/or answering our numberless questions as promptly as she could. She kept the lines of communication open, friendly, and business-like. The owner himself did some last-minute tear-down debris cleaning at the conclusion of the project.

The operation was almost flawless. We highly recommend GM Roofing.

Be aware of this roofing company. Our roof did not pass city inspection and, according to the city inspector, the entire roof must be replaced.

I was very impressed by the work that was done on my roof. I have a two story house with a lot of surface area. GM Stripped the whole roof and made the necessary repairs in one day. The next day they completed the job. Debbra, the secretary, was especially helpful. she was always pleasant and answered all the questions that we had. I rate this company as

These guys are GREAT, let me repeat that: these guys are GREAT. I've got a small coffee store in Los Al and they last year and fix the leaks and this year when a couple of leaks resurfaced they came out and rectified them n/c. Its really nice to do business with a company that's not out to take advantage. They will get all my business.

We're new homeowners, and during escrow our home inspector told us that our flat roof was nearing the end of its life. I asked GM Roofing to assess the condition of the roof and what could be done to extend its life.

After inspecting the roof, Vess from GM Roofing gave us the awesome news that our roof is in good condition and could last for another 10 years. He just recommended an annual roof check-up to check the pipe fittings and gravel guards. We were expecting a major cost this year with the roof, so we're more than relieved with this news. It was wonderful to get an honest assessment, and I think Vess definitely had this homeowner's best interests in mind.

On the same day, I also had a different general contractor/project manager give his assessment of his roof. He's not a roofing specialist, but he also said that the roof didn't need any work, and could last for at least another 2 years. We're hoping Vess and GM Roofing is right with their prediction of 10 more years with this roof, and we'll get annual maintenance to be on the safe side.

Gary expertly installed a new composition roof. Job was done on-time and at a reasonable cost. The new roof was a definite plus when we sold the house.

Our 20 year old roof was looking haggard, even though it was weatherproof and sound. We contacted one roofing company who said a complete replacement was required, and then we called GM Roofing. Gary was great and worked with us to find a cost-effective solution that would make the roof safe, aesthetically pleasing, and still keep costs down. He provided three different scenarios with reasonable bids for each possible job. We chose to forgo a completely new roof and do a simple repair/replace as needed plan that came out beautifully! What a refreshing way to do business!
