I have used these guys for so many things from sprinkler system work to running gas lines to insulation in the attic. Next they are laying tile at my rental house. They are just awesome. Highly recommend.

This review is for a job completed in April, 2022.
Restoration 1 provided a competitive estimate for removal of damaged carpet and drywall due to a plumbing leak that produced mold in the wall and floor. Their job quote included the above work, plus mold remediation for about 3 days after the removal of the damaged carpet and drywall.
The work itself was done well by one worker, from beginning to end.

The reason for the less than excellent rating was due to poor communication amongst the staff. I was told by the person working on site whether he could haul away a damaged mattress that was in the room, along with other damaged items, and he said that was doable. He just said he'll need to bring an appropriate trailer. I assumed that there was no extra charge for this as it was not mentioned.

However, on final day of the job, I was informed by the management from the office that there was an extra charge for the mattress removal since it was not on the original invoice. The explanation was that extra personnel would be needed and a disposal fee. To me, at the time, that seemed reasonable as there are costs involved, but I was not happy that this was not communicated to us earlier, so we could have planned alternate means of removing the mattress on our own. We did not want to store this moldy mattress so we agreed that they could haul it away.

On the day it was hauled away, there wasn't an extra person on site, nor an extra trailer used, but just the regular truck, and I had to help the worker haul it into his truck. So I'm wondering why I was told extra personnel was needed when only 1 person arrived to remove the mattress, and to ask the homeowner to help move it? I wonder how this would have been done if I were disabled or otherwise unable to help?

They also never responded with a repair quote for carpet install and drywall repair. It was understood those were separate jobs and a separate quote was needed. It's possible I misunderstood and they don't do this type of work, but I do recall that they did.

I feel that Restoration did a good job, but I would suggest only using them if the quote includes everything you needed done, and communicate with the front office about anything additional that is needed, not rely on the word of the on-site worker.

I had a great experience with Global Service Company my shower was leaking and my wood floor had buckled. They pulled out my shower and redid my floor in a quick turnaround time. I had lots of questions and they where kind and patient with me. As a homeowner you don't know what to expect with construction and the owners where on top of each step of the process. I've been dealing with contractors for over 20 years; I cannot say that it has been all good experiences. Thank goodness for Global Service, they are the first company in all my years, that actually did what they say said. They were very clear on the work to be performed and provided a realistic schedule. They showed up on time and were very courteous. The gentlemen that performed the work picked up after themselves and always made sure to park in areas that did not interfere with my vehicles or property. I recommend this company for all your restoration and construction requirements. I've even had them do a roof for me and they definitely are ""one of a kind"" they were exceptional on quality of materials used and the quality of craftsmanship. Wish more contractors existed like them.

Inexperienced team, hired for mold remediation and did NOT follow protocol . Cost of thousands of dollars due to lack of over seeing job and recommending things to eliminate mold. Through additional mold testing found counts higher after their work was complete . Shannon lied to us during the entire process and kept information from us that has caused us additional issues for the mold remediation process. Don't let the nice guy fool

AAA company. Listen! The company owner came to my home for water restoration repairs and a ceiling leak.He gave a great price,warranty and references in The Woodlands,Katy and Spring.I was impressed. They did a great job and never charged a upfront fee.Jim is not the owner.These guys did top notch work.My wife's mother even decided to get her kitchen remodeled and they gave her a senior discount along with a 5 year workmanship warranty.She was happy with the quality also.I save my receipts and was glad these guys came out and really did impressive work on my house and respected me, my kids and pets with professionalism

This company besides having a shady name is run by a shady guy named jim. He will make a deal with you then he will pretend to forget what he said. Looking this company up i can see why they used such a generic sounding name that is almost impossible to lookup. They have nothing but bad reviews like this one. Stay far away from this company and really anyone who works local but claims to be global. Its all bs
