Brian was amazing through the entire process. We originally had him come out almost a year ago to get a quote, pretty much at the beginning of the pandemic. Because of issues with our insurance it took us forever but when I reached out to Brian again he came back out to make sure We were good. Brian and his team worked diligently and always kept us up to date on what was going on. My new roof is beautiful and I couldn't be happier!! Pricing was very reasonable as well :)

I hired Glades Edge over the summer, the finished roof is excellent. It took longer than I was expecting, but with any big job there can be unforeseen circumstances that pop up. The price was good compared to other quotes that I received, and the owner Bryan is always available if you have any questions.

On the month of January I hired the company Glades Edge Roofing. After extensive research and some guidances by reviews on the Next Door Plantation website I thought I wasn't going to have any problems.
I am a 62 year old widow who lives alone. I had two leaks on my roof that reeded emergency repair. The first thing that Mr. Brian Mangle, who to my understanding is the person who represents the company, told me was that I had to change my entire roof. Thats something I know has to be done eventually, but not at this moment.
He agreed to fix my leaks, and to this day I remain here with the same problems. I have evidence to prove it.
Mr. Mangle never came to supervise the work that his workers were doing, and when I asked him if he wanted to check on the progress he responded that he believed blindly on his workers.
I sent him many messages in which I informed him that the problem has not yet been fixed and he responded that he would fix them. The last message I sent him was on the 4th of this month and I have yet to receive a response.
Many times I didn't even leave my house all day waiting to see if they showed up.
Kn one of the days I waited for him I sent him a message that evening and he audacity to say i was ""harassing""him. Its incredible.
For the incomplete work I have paid him in January $2,400.00 and in February $1,600.00 when he had supposedly finished.
To this day he has ignored his responsibilities so I am recurring to this method of communication because after calling another company they have informed me that one on the damages isn't even caused by the roof, which means Mr. Mangle doesn't even know what he's doing.
im making this a public complaint because I don't want another person to be taken advantage of.
Money doesn't rain from the skies for me, and now i have to hire another company to fix what he couldn't.
His excuse was that he was always far and busy with other jobs.
I don't think this is ok.

Like everyone else in South Florida- I needed my roof fixed after Hurricane Irma. Brian was hands-down the most reliable and budget friendly. I got recommendations from all my friends and neighbors and called about 12 roofers. 5 actually came for estimates. Brian had not only the best price but he really knew what he was doing. He was the first contractor that I've had that was always available. Via text or cell phone- he replied right away. He actually was ready to start and we had to delay it a day before I could get the paperwork notarized. What contractor is ahead of schedule? He was amazing when it came to selecting our color tiles. Brian was personally invested in making sure we 100% liked our color. He brought the samples to us at home. There was one sample that the factory was out of. He had that sample sent to our house. He wanted to make sure that we 100% liked our color. We valued his opinion because he treated us truly like friends. He gave us honest opinions. We trusted his opinions so much that I got two referrals for other contractors for him. (We are currently using his painter.) Brian also emailed me copies of all the important documents- which is important as not all contractors are digital. I got him from a neighborhood website and he lives in a nearby neighborhood. So reliable, local, and competitively priced! My only complaint is that Brian only does roofs! I wish he was a general contractor because he would certainly have become my new handyman. It's rare to find a contractor that really cares and communicates so well. I will be texting Brian in the future for other recommendations and I would refer any of my friends and family to him.
