Gilstrap roofing came to my house and in one day put the roof on. Marcos and the crew were always very friendly to me and my wife and even allowed me to go up and see what they were doing. We used to have a place near the chimney that leaked consistently when it rained, but now thanks to Gilstrap the problem is solved and my old roof has been replaced.

Beware of failure to return if job not correct. Will not return calls to rectify failed repair.It has been over 4 months with various calls to contact them. Job did not correct problem of roof leak

Called them on a Monday to request an assessment on hail damage to our roof. They told me someone would be out two days later. No one ever showed up. I called them back the following Monday and was told someone would get back to me later that day. Still waiting for that call. I guess they're too busy to consider a 15 to 20 thousand dollar roofing repair.

Brian and JJ came out so quickly to provide us a quote for our roof. We had a long list of repairs after our buyers home inspection was performed and Gilstrap roofing made checking the roof off our list the easiest and smoothest of the repairs. They were very quick to respond (same day), professional and courteous. We had a few contractors come to quote the job and Gilstrap Roofing had the best price, not to mention they were the easiest to work with. Cannot recommend them enough and will definitely call them without question if we have more roofing needs in the future.

This is the second time we've used Gilstrap, and the second time we'd recommend them to someone else. The first time, they came out to do a small patch job (in a difficult spot); when we still had some leakage after a rain a few weeks later, they came right back out and fixed it. This second time was for a larger area, and we've had no issues since. The guys are really nice and polite! The only thing was they were a little hard to get out here the second time - took a few phone calls. But we are so pleased with their work and their attitude, that it was worth it to us to use them despite the phone tag. :)

Pleased so far with our recent roof replacement. Issues at first with getting the original estimate but was resolved promptly after contacting Brian directly. They worked with my insurance company to make to claim process as easy as possible.

My one star rating is because I did not get an chance to see their work product. I called Gilstrap roofing a few weeks ago and had a hard time getting anyone to call me back. Finally I found someone else to make a small repair while I waiting on the insurance adjuster to inspect the roof. After the claim was approved by insurance, I again called Gilstrap because the company seemed to have good ratings and I thought maybe the lack of communication a few weeks back was just a fluke. I called last week and I was told someone from scheduling would call me back. I waited. I called on Thursday 10/15. Knowing that there has been some bad weather in the area and that they may be busy, I gave it until Monday. Monday comes and goes and no one calls me back. On Tuesday 10/20 I call back and a lady apologized for the oversight and said someone would call me as soon as possible from scheduling. Well it's Thursday and no one has called back. So I have called another company because I am done begging Gilstrap Roofing to call me back.
