Daniel L.This is in regards to the project located at 13170 Idylwild Road, Fort Myers FL, 33905 which I am in charge of per Jan Stonestreet due to Gillis construction trying to take advantage of an elderly woman by trying to get payment for a job that was neither completed nor done with any professionalism. John (Gillis construction sales rep) had advised me that the mistakes made by Gillis construction (wrong windows put in and shoddy work on the front window) would be corrected starting on January 24, 2020. This project has been going on for over 6 months. I am sending this email because Ms. Gillis does not return phone calls and cannot seem to deal with this issue in a professional manner. If I do not receive confirmation on an installation date that is within a reasonable time frame today (1/22/2020) then I will consider Gillis to be in breach of contract and another company will be hired to complete the project. The difference in cost for another contractor to correct the issues caused by Gillis Construction will be billed to Gillis Construction and, if necessary, filed with small claims court.
