Brian, who claims to be a Christian and throws around Bible verses, is the most UNchristian person I have come across.

I hired him to stain my arbor and paint the exterior of my house.

He stained my arbor on Friday, April 6. This man did NOT even bother to prep before he began staining. Needless to say, there is oil based wood stain on my patio, on my grill, countertops, pool floats, windows, door, screen, and the worst; in the pool! The pool cleaner had to change the filter and put in oil absorbing enzymes. He will have to reassess the pool when he comes back this week. I mean who does that??? It was too much effort to cover the pool with a plastic tarp, I guess.

The paint job (April 9 and 10) isn't much better. From a distance, it looks fine. Until you look up and see that he didn't even paint the chimney. There are so many missed places under the eaves and on the gutters... and places you can see the previous paint color. A second coat would have done the job, but again... too much work. There is paint on the brick where he sprayed and didn't cover the brick. The list goes on.

I have called him 5 times in the past week and he will not answer. I need to talk to him to explain where these things are that need addressing- hoping to get it all done in one day and not have him have to come back for items missed. I finally texted and asked if he planned to return my call and he said no that i was the most annoying person he has met and I deserved the poor quality.

    Wow. So professional.

He then went on to threaten me that If I tried to get a refund, he would gladly file a lien on my home for a higher rate than what he charged me.

    Such a nice, quality man.

I want my job done and I want it to be quality work... too much to ask?
I don't think so and anyone who has ever hired a contractor would agree. We pay professionals because we expect a professional job. (and I use the word professional loosely, in this instance)

To me, this is just unbelievable. I would want to do the best job possible because I would be EMBARRASSED to leave a project with all those issues.
    Again... POOR WORK ETHIC!

I have attached a few pics as samples of his shoddy work. Pictures don't lie.

What is really disgusting is that he preys on people who fall for his ""Christian"" disguise.

Brian was hired to paint two rooms and to pull up the carpeting--both rooms were in bad shape from the previous occupant, who kept birds in one room. I purchased spackle, sanders, Kilz, primer and paint so that the walls could be prepped and painted. He didn't prep the walls at all, did not use the primer or the sanders, or the Kilz, and when he ran out of paint, used a flat paint rather than the semi-gloss that the rest of the room was painted with--as you can imagine, it looks awful. When he was contacted and asked to come back and make the necessary repairs, he refused. He claimed that he was only asked to paint the room and that's what he did and he made insulting remarks in response. I am a senior, on a fixed and limited income, so I cannot afford to have it redone. I was in tears when I saw it and could not believe anyone could take pride in the awful state he left it in.
