George Parks previously fixed a leak in my roof that others had failed to cure. I realized that he is licensed for both roofing and painting so hired him to paint our ~95 year old home. George tactfully steered us away from a gaudy color that our neighbors would have hated and helped us find a look that is in keeping with our home's character. We are delighted with the results and the house feels so much brighter and airier. George's crew members were experts and didn't even damage a cactus growing next to the home that the gardener and I predicted would be trampled. Nor did they blare loud music or leave debris in the yard. I really appreciated George letting us know what to expect and when. He finished very quickly without skimping or hurrying us. What great service and professionalism!

George was very responsive when it came to my appointment. However, when he arrived I found him to be arrogant, pushy, and unprofessional. Don't understand all the good reviews. I have some roof shingle issues and had a few other roofers give me estimates. All said, apart from a few things, that my roof is in good condition. George, who didn't even climb ON the roof, was claiming that I need an entire new roof. When I told him about the other roofers findings he basically decided he didn't want my business, dismissed me, and said ""I guess you know more than me"". Not a very professional way to handle the situation. Additionally, he felt comfortable parking his truck in my driveway when there was plenty of street parking, didn't shake hands, or look me in the eye. Maybe he was having a bad day, but it all rubbed me the wrong way and knew I didn't want to work with him.

Our roof was redone by this company last month, just in time for the downpour! We had 3 layers including a shake bottom layer which needed to be removed. We mainly worked with George's son Chris who was just a quick text away whenever I had a question. They were very professional, honest and very easy to work with. They also painted our home and came back for touch ups after the roof was complete. This company was extremely clean which was very important to me. They swept, hosed down and searched for every stray nail so we wouldn't have any accidents with our dogs or car tires! Definitely recommend!

WOW!! After having several contractors come by and fail to follow through, George showed up on a Monday to bid the job and the job was complete by Thursday! No shortcuts taken either. We live in essentially a bungalow that was built in 1927. It had seven layers including the old wood shake. They demolished the old roof, sheeted the rafters and laid a proper new roof in its place. They used top shelf materials. So much so that we are eligible for a state rebate. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate the quality of their work. If the quality of the roof is any indication I will be thrilled with the results of their paint work on my home as well.

George Parks Roofing recently put a new roof on my house. Most of the arrangements were made with George's son Chris. However both George and Chris did come out to the worksite at least twice each. I'm not always the easiest to work with, but I thought their whole team did a good job. Their foreman, Rogelio, was communicative and managed the team who did quality work. They made a few minor repairs and reinforcements that they could have charged for, but did not. They worked quickly and had the roof for a 1500 square foot house, plus the detached garage, completed 3.5 days. Based on the limited number of quotes we obtained, their pricing seemed fair.

George Parks Roofing and Painting replaced our roof and painted the outside of our entire house. The house looks great. We dealt with Chris who explained everything he was doing and kept us informed throughout the process. The entire job was done within a week. He only takes on one client at a time, and he has his own crew. As a result, the job is done quickly, not spread out over several weeks. We feel that Chris' operation worked like a well-oiled machine and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Chris Parks was professional, knowledgeable, a breeze to work with and extremely patient as we took over 2 years to decide on the type of roofing product for our Tarzana home (Boral Cedar Lite Concrete tiles) and timing.

His team was careful and skilled and took extra time to make sure certain corners and transitions looked good. They replaced frames around windows and painted. We could not be happier with their above and beyond service!!!

New roofs are not cheap so I honestly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality roof with and quality installation!!
