This review is long overdue ! Dana , and his talented crew have installed 2 roofs for me . The last one being in the Spring of 2024 , and the previous one a couple years prior to that . Both were done exceptionally well, with great communication , attention to detail , quality and fair pricing . He also backs his work up , including a good warranty for each roof ! I would highly recommend Gentry Construction for all your roofing needs ! Thanks again Dana for the quality work !

This was the best experience! I had requested quotes from several other companies and the majority of them tried to price gauge me because of the neighborhood I live in. Gentry gave us a fair price and did exceptional work. The value here is amazing. They fixed my dry rot and repainted the pieces, cleaned and sealed my gutters. I would most definitely recommend.

Gentry construction did a great job on our roof! Dana came out to give us an estimate and I appreciate how candid and straightforward he was with us. He encouraged us to get multiple quotes and explained how his contract works and what would be included. His quote clearly outlined how much it would cost per sheet of plywood, etc. if they had to replace those items once they pull up the tiles and see what's underneath.
We ended up getting 2 more quotes and I had a family member who is a roofer on the east coast look over them. He recommended we go with Gentry based on what was included (materials, installation method, etc) and the 10 year workmanship warranty. Bonus, Gentry was the lowest quote!
When I called to schedule it, they pulled the permit the same day and started within the week. The crew worked 7am-5pm and cleaned up well before they left each day. We had our new roof less than a week later. The change order was minimal and actually less than we expected - It still came in under the base quote we got from the other 2 companies.

I wanted to recommend Dana and his crew for fixing our roof leak. The quote was not only competitive but I felt Dana and his crew did a very good job. From the start I felt Dana was very responsive in answering our questions which made us feel comfortable. Once we scheduled a time the team arrived right on time. The actual work exceeded our expectations by repairing other parts of the roof that we did not expect outside the leak area. Very much appreciated as we felt other roofers would have only focused on the leak area. I would highly recommend Dana and his team for any of your roofing needs.

I requested quotes from a few companies and thought I needed decking under my roof prior to installing solar panels. I later found out that I didn't need work done bc this company came out to my house and inspected my roof in person letting me know I already have ""decking"" under that the solar company did not notice. I may not have needed their services but I thought it was necessary to write how much I appreciated their promptness, professionalism and kindness. I've spoken to a few other people regarding the roof and it was definitely different. Dana, who came out to give me a quote was so down to earth, didn't sound like a sales man at all. He explained everything to me in such a nice and professional way. He was also willing to give out recommendations to people he knew for any of my other needs and possible projects. He was prompt, profesional and kind. Thank you! It's hard to meet people like you. I may have not needed your services but I'm definitely keeping your info in my back pocket and recommending you as well. I put in a request for quotes through Yelp for a leak coming through the chimney. Dana responded quickly and got someone out to investigate and look at the roof. We knew we were going to have a few other areas that needed some work as well. They took pictures and gave us a quote that was much more reasonable than others we got. He got a crew out quickly and the team was wonderful. They were quick, communicated what was happening, and showed us the final work through photos. That work was done back in October. Fast forward to February we had a some drops of water coming in through chimney with the heavy rain and wind. I contacted Dana and he had someone come out the next day. We hoped on a call and he explained what was happening very thoroughly. I highly recommended Dana and his team!

The company that the insurance recommended have to reschedule multiple times to inspect the roof. I couldn't wait any longer because it was raining every now and then and I am afraid that the leak would worsen. I posted on Yelp and the first one to call me was Dana. He then came to my house the following day to make the inspection, we settled on the price and the following week the job was done! The people that worked on our roof were very professional, very polite and very thorough. His pricing was very reasonable and he's one of the easiest contractors I have worked with.

Gentry was here the very next day. Set everything up. And was top-notch service. The gentleman who came to do the work was quick.
