We had a roof leak on Friday 1/29/21 and I immediately sent out messages on Yelp for quotes. Genesis was the first to respond and came out the next day on a Saturday to investigate and provide me with a quote. Evelio from Genesis roofing was excellent to deal with. He went above and beyond on investigating our roof leak to determine the cause. They completed the repairs today (Wednesday). Evelio came with his crew and he explained the process to my wife and I. He arrived early and completed the work quickly. Genesis even gave me an extended warranty. Competing bidders didn't offer a warranty or even do as thorough job trying to figure out the location of the leak. The competition seemed like they were just trying to sell us something we didn't need. I would definitely recommend Genesis Roofing and Evelio for anyone looking for repairing their leaky roof.

There was a heavy rainstorm in the beginning of the month of January. At that time I noticed that we had a leak. The leak seemed to come from the roof. I had a roofing company come and inspect to give me an estimate. Upon inspection, they said there was nothing wrong with the roof and they tried to get me to do mold mediation!! They said the leak is from the window frame and we have to redo the framing around the windows.

The next rain storm we had more leaks. This time I went to the attic and realized that sure enough there was a leak from the roof. A heavy rain storm was expected. I called many roof companies, and Genesis Pro Roofing contacted me right. Upon inspection by Evelio, he diagnosed the problem and promised to have his crew come the next day before the heavy rain. They came and fixed the problem as promised and gave us a warranty for their work. He took pictures from the roof to show us exactly where the problem was. I commend Evelio for his responsiveness. We just had another rain storm and there was no leak ... problem fixed! I highly recommend these guys. They were fare with their pricing and did a quality work. 5-star for these guys!

Our family had the greatest experience with Genesis Pro Roofing. Evelio was available quickly and arrived punctually. He was very professional and to the point, the work was done quickly and thoroughly, we haven't had any problems with the leak since. He was very knowledgeable about roofing and gave me the fairest estimate compared to the other companies that came out. Our job was with a skylight and I was impressed that he was able to do such better work than other companies in the past. We have had problems with this skylight for years and he's the only one who has fixed it.
I couldn't recommend this company more, true professionals and no BS!

Had a leak during recent storm in HB, Evelio from Genesis was the first to respond, and came out on a Sunday to take a look. He showed up on time as scheduled, in a mask, despite the numerous emergencies he already had that day. When rain was back in the forecast for Sunday evening, Evelio came back and volunteered to do a quick patch that afternoon and got us through Sunday without further leaks. He came back before the next set of rain and finished the proper repairs in an hour. Reliable, professional, and reasonably priced, ask for Evelio from Genesis Pro Roofing!

Although it rarely rains in SoCal, we were blessed to finally get some well needed rain yesterday. It just so happened that our roof started to show it's age also and our roof started to leak which caused a hole and subsequent leak from our den ceiling drywall, drip, drip, drip. Realizing that we have several more days of expected rain, I had to get a hold of a roofing company to repair our roof immediately. I reached out to several roofing companies via Yelp, but it being a Saturday, I was not able to get a hold of anyone with exception to Genesis Pro Roofing. I sent them pictures of the affected areas and they were able to make it out the following day which was a Sunday. They quickly found the issue, and patched it. I was planning to completely renovate a French Country style home with a steep wood shingle roof and a guest house. The roof is a major visual for the house; it had to be the correct design and the workmanship had to be of the highest quality.
After evaluating at least a half a dozen roofing companies, I decided Genesis Pro Roofing would be the right company for my roofing job. Evelio, the owner, listened to what I was trying to accomplish, presented some ideas, made a couple of recommendations and referred me to other homes with similar roofs that could help in my decision process, by providing a visual of what my roof would look like when completed. He helped me feel comfortable that the staggered wood shingle design he recommended would look best with my steep slope and add dimensional appeal.
Furthermore, he assisted me in finalizing the approach to insulating and installing a standing seam metal roof, all from the outside of the guest house roof, thereby, completely preserving the interior ceiling. I was really happy that I didn't have to do anything to the interior ceiling to gain the much needed insulation.
I am not a quick decision maker because I want everything to end up just the way I envision it. Fortunately, everyone at Genesis was friendly, professional and patient. Their patience allowed me the time, prior to starting the work, to confirm that I was making the right decision and the results would be what I was looking for.
Genesis was a great find: professional, friendly, clean, quality work and priced below the other roofing companies that I contacted. Genesis is the only company that I will use in the future for roofing, general construction or painting.

We hired Genesis Pro Roofing to do our low slope roof in our recently purchased home. We had inquired a few places and got several bids, but chose to go with Evelio. He came to do our inspection and right off the bat you could tell he had years of experience under his belt and suggested we go with a TPO roof for our type of roof (with insulation) since we have vaulted, open beam ceilings which means no attic with insulation. We noticed a difference in our home and can tell it will help with energy efficiency. The crew did an amazing job, answering questions and taking care of any concerns we had in the process. Evelio is a great communicator and was readily available any time I had a question. I highly recommend Genesis Pro for your roofing needs.

When the HOA for my Downtown San Francisco office building came up short finding a roofing company to fix a perpetual leak in the main tiled roof and clean out the gutters, Genesis Pro Roofing came through with flying colors. The challenge was that this 17-story building is historic and somewhat quirky and has an insanely steep roofline that deters most roofing contractors, particularly because there are no anchors on the roof, so the only way to work on it is with a rope and harness, something most companies weren't willing to attempt. As an HOA, preserving the integrity of the building and roof while remaining within budget were our primary objectives and Genesis Pro Roofing delivered on both of those!

Their staff were friendly, professional, timely, and accountable. Very happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to engage them for future projects.
