Great service and competitive pricing. Several companies submitted offers and I went with Gen819 for there level of dedication, personal touch and flexibility. Almost all homes in my neighborhood have solar installations and I am proud to say that mine is the prettiest. What is great curb appeal good for if your solar installer messes up the roof with bare conduits? Gen819 listened to all my concerns and personalization requests. All conduit in the roof where possible and the panel was routed exactly to where I wanted it. The very latest solar technology was used, work was meticulous and any post installation concerns were promptly addressed. I also had a flat roof repaired at the same time, Gen819 does it all in one go, no long waiting times. I am a very satisfied customer.

We were referred to Gen819 through a friend.

Marcus came out to look at our roof, which is a flat roof, and gave us a quote very quickly after his visit.

The company filed all of the necessary paperwork and permits. They even moved the panels to areas on the roof we preferred and got the permit approval for that too.

The workers installed were professional and efficient. They cleaned up everything afterwards.

While they were installing, we had a small summer rain shower and it caused some leaks into the house and our garage. They were very quick to come out and fix and paint everything so our house showed no signs of leakage.

Because we have a flat roof, we had them go over everything with a blowtorch to ensure the holes made were completely sealed. We shall see how that worked once it starts raining.

I built a small addition on my house and needed a roofer to complete the job. I sent Marcus, the owner the architectural plans to get a quote. He took the time to come over an inspect the site and gave me a verbal quote of $2000 for the entire job including materials. That was the end of my positive experience. Once the additional was ready for the roof, It was like pulling teeth to get a written quote. Once I did, the quote was $6000, 300% more then the verbal and there was no scope changes.

Obviously I did not hire him and based on my experience, I wouldn't even bother getting a quote. I have never in my life had a written quote come in at 3x the verbal.

Gen819 is a good company to hire for your roofing needs. They were recommended by a friend. They are well priced (had one other estimate) and really nice people to work with. I had an urgent repair need during the rain and Sergio (?) got out to my place the next day and got my leak repaired in one afternoon . Lots of rain but so far zero issues since. I recommend them

Marcus Maedl (the owner) is very knowledgeable and explains every option in detail to you. He works with you to suit your wishes and needs to give you the best price possible.
The process went smoothly from permits over installation to the check mark of the city inspector and was finished in a timely manner. I'd work him and his team anytime again and referred him to many other clients that only had good experiences. Small company but very competitive for quality work!

Marcus suggested a more cost effective solution to replacing all of our cement tiles, and integrated solar into the roof so it's lower profile. We felt we got a fair price and the entire Gen819 team was very polite and responsive via phone and email throughout the whole process.
