Keon L.GBC did a great job painting my home. Overall the experience was professional and I have no complaints with the final product.
Project took a little longer than expected but that was because of an exceptionally rainy Spring in 2023 but they were on the job when the weather permitted. The crews were polite and did a pretty good job cleaning up after each work day.
Overall I will most likely work with GBC again, I am in the habit of vetting service providers and they offered the best deal so they got my business.
I highly recommend Aaron and his team - I'll follow up this review in a few years and let you all know how the Tex-Cote is holding up. Great job GBC!!
Eglantina B.They dug 8 to 12 inches deep around my foundation, resurfaced my entire stucco, and redid it with a thermacoating type stucco. The home was built in 1953. You can not tell nor see any defects in the many patches it had done over the years. They replaced all windows, making the home look brand new. They were polite, clean, prompt, and quick to correct anything I saw as a flaw. Highly recommend. Must be patient with material deliveries as that's not in their control. Otherwise, phenomenal work, exceptional workers, and project managers.
Thien D.Customer service is horrible. I spoke to Mariah to book an appointment initially and she called me back to back with phone calls to confirm my address. I was very irritated with her communication skill. After they came out and gave me an estimate, she called me back and said they can give me a better price. I booked an appointment with her to see how much they can reduced. I canceled the appointment online because I changed my mind but somehow it didn't go through. I called them because I got a reminder text that my appointment is coming up. I called her and she said I should of call her anyway. This place is so messy! I would not recommended it and their original estimate is way more than expected from other company.
These folks are horrible! TONS of lip service, but not much more. Hired to put up fascia, remove faux rock and replace that area with new stucco. and paint the house. Job started on Sep 27th. STILL NOT DONE. Lots of poor workmanship! Workers are completely ill equipped. No ladders, brooms, hand tools for removing the earth from against the house. Even borrowed our extension cord one time. We had a guy use his foot to hold a board while he cut it with a power saw! I could go on and on. Bottom line is that it would be much cheaper to just drive to Home Depot and pick up workers than to pay someone else to do it for you.
That is the quality of work we have had on our house.
Walter A.We had GBC replace our roof first. Great job! So, we had them back to replace our large, decorative front windows. Again, great job. So, we had them back to refinish the exterior of the entire house. The job went exactly as Steven said it would. On time, on the budget, and perfect in all respects. The house looks great and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Steven and GBC.
Bob J.The exterior of our home was painted by GBC. They did an excellent job! They replaced our old brick facade with new, modern materials and moved us into this century. They repaired the stucco, facia and eaves then painted them. The paint used has kept the house cooler as the heat is reflected away from the house. They were responsive to requests, stayed on schedule and were careful not to damage plants. The work accomplished was quality work. I would not hesitate to recomend them.
We chose GBC Remodeling to replace our ancient roof after seeing the work they did on our grandparents roof. No complaints--wonderful roof job & a nice crew. Demolition, installation & clean up was very fast. Also, everyone we interacted with from GBC has been accessible, patient & accommodating. Very pleased with how our new roof turned out and, no leaks!
Mira A.Very responsive, great quality, trustworthy team, open to original ideas. Completed several interior and exterior projects including roofing and remodeling.
DON'T use this company. I made a huge 20,000.00 + mistake by signing a contract with them. As other reviews have stated Lawrence never returned calls, texts or emails once he had my money. That pretty much goes for the rest of the employees as well. Lawrence was a hard sell and extremely pushy. I signed against my better judgment. I said I needed to get other bids. He then did the typical sales technique and knocked of a couple of thousand dollars after conferring with whom I assumed was the owner. I signed with this company Nov.1-21. I'm still waiting for a leak to be repaired after the first big rain of the season mid December. They sent a rep out the night I reported it. He said ( Sonny) he would get back to me. Today is 4-24-22 and you guessed it nothing!! Of course I've pleaded emailed and spoken to most employees in this company hoping for a resolution. They also have failed to respond to finishing the paint trim on the roof. Lawrence and Jessica both asked that I send them the color for the trim and it would be done.
Which I did immediately, nothing to date. I also gave a deposit for an upstairs window replacement 11-1-21. Steve another employee came to measure and said he would put it in as ""Hot"" due to heavy rain expected in December. After speaking with Jessica in February she said the window was in and apologized to me. She assured me ALL of the work would be scheduled and completed ASAP. I then told her I was leaving for Washington State for approximately a month but was greatly relieved to hear that she understood my frustration. I returned from my daughter's house in Washington and began the whole futile calling and getting no where scenario. Finally a newly hired employee (Nathan) reached out to ask me to give them another chance to complete said work. He now is off the radar as well. He's not responded to my texts or phone calls.
After reaching out once again. I received
an email on 4-4-22 from Jessica that Steve would like to start work between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. on 4-5-22. Although I had an important appointment that morning I canceled it to finally get this long overdue work completed. On the morning of the 5th Steve was a no show. I finally called Jessica at 10:00 a.m. to ask where he was. Her response ""He didn't call you""? Not only did he not give me the courtesy of a call but had the wrong size window. At that point I was DONE with GBC. I asked for my deposit back for the window and did receive it. This does not however absolve them for the leak in my garage or the trim painting.
Their warranty isn't worth the paper its written on. I thought by being licensed, bonded and insured I could trust GBC. NOT SO!
GBC replaced all of our windows with beautiful new Anlin windows, and we could not be happier! Stephen was on the job from initial presentation to completion of work. We were confident and at ease throughout the process and his crew was absolutely wonderful. Materials arrived on schedule and work was performed in one day. We wholeheartedly recommend GBC Remodeling and Stephen is the guy you want running the work. Fantastic job, guys!
