Instead of painting our house exterior and deck cover AGAIN, we decided to stop painting every four or five years and find a long-term solution. After researching the possibilities (regular painting vs. a long-term solution), we focused on finding a company to apply the CoolWall process to our home.

In addition to coating, we decided to remove some unsightly wood trim, as well. We had read that others had experienced some serious problems with the CoolWall finish. But, after receiving a quote and explaining our product concerns to the GBC Remodeling salesperson, Art, he explained the workers applying the coating are trained and certified by the CoolWall manufacturer and distributor, which is critical to consistently successful installations of CoolWall. He also took the time to show us the detailed process used to do the application, explaining why the coating fails if the process is not followed. The failures typically occur when the coating is applied by companies who are not trained and certified in the process. With his detailed explanation, we were confident to go with CoolWall (and Trim Cote for the fascia trim and deck cover) and GBC. Both products are warranted for as long as you own your home.

The work was completed in October of 2020, and we are very happy with all aspects, including insulation properties, of the final product. We had a significant amount of work done, and I can say that we are very happy with the results delivered by GBC. For any issues that we did have as the work progressed, all I had to do was mention it to the project manager, Steven, and it was quickly taken care of. Their attention to detail and response to eliminating our concerns is the best that I have experienced.

We also decided to go with GBC to replace all 36 windows in our house. They showed us excellent window samples and we chose to go with Anlin windows, which has a transferrable lifetime warranty (even covers breakage!) . As nice as the house already looked after the CoolWall/Trim Cote applications, the windows just made the house pop! Steven is trained in the installation of the windows and did the installation himself. They were installed immaculately and are beautiful. We would probably be kicking ourselves, right now, if we had not chosen to do the windows.

I can't say enough about Steven's management of our project, and highly recommend GBC Remodeling for any remodeling goals and projects you may have.

What can I say, I was looking for a different GC to complete our exterior stucco/repairs, and after doing some research came across GBC Remodeling. I am so pleased to have a company that was extremely informative, courteous and on the same level from the start. They were prompt from the initial meeting all the way through the construction, and made sure all items were addressed and taken care of. Steve was the PM on the job and he was out on site every few days to make sure everything was going as planned and on schedule with the crews. The crews were early and cleaned up the site at the end of everyday.

Overall my experience with GBC has been nothing short of amazing and I will definitely be back for any future remodeling needs as they went above and beyond my expectations. If you need a great company this is the one for you. Thank you again team, you really have set the new expectation now in my books.

There seems to be some problems coming from the top. They refuse to finish the project for customers after they've collected their money. They apparently give you the best warranty, but the warranties aren't registered with the manufacturer. For future customers thinking about getting a roof done, please consider going with another contractor that will be honest with their work, prices, and warranty.

The owner and his employees are rude. They have had contract with my sister to do her roof but the way they performed their work, it does not like an expert. They did very messily and dirty and unsafe for whole my family. When they dropped a lot of nails In my sister's backyard but they didn't clean then my sister steps on the screw. Her blood comes out, I have to bring her to ER.

They also forced my sister to sign all the paperwork then must give them five stars for them review.

They asks my sister to pay for them during their job not completely done as professionals do.

One of the GBC roofing manager name is Sunny, his voice raising threatens to my sister and always high voice volume.

My sister is unsatisfied with what they did because she paid them a lot of money and hired them for a professional job. She is very disappointed with the way they rude. I am her witness and saw everything messing at the beginning until today.

NOT RECOMMENDED. I had scheduled an appointment for my father's home. Mariah said they prefer someone with good English to be home and I said his English is pretty good and that I'll be there. I felt that was a bit of a racist comment but I let it go. I wasn't home when they came (I tried but something came up). My father's English is fair and not bad. The inspector came and spoke to my father but did not do the inspection. I told Mariah when I scheduled the appointment that we just wanted to do a lift and relay and it's not my fault she didn't tell her inspector that's what we wanted - I was very clear. Mariah said there are ""tons of options and tons of warranty options"" and that they cannot list them all. Really? How many could there be? So you just want us to stand there and listen to him give us all the options instead? We'd still need it in writing. And wouldn't you just suggest what we need and not try to sell us on services/materials we don't need? We aren't going to make a decision on the spot so why not just inspect, put it on paper and let us choose? We had NO PROBLEMS with other companies, one didn't even need to speak to us really....just did their measurements and looked at what we needed. Perhaps the inspector was a racist?, saw Asians and didn't want to do it? Who knows but I'm glad we aren't working with them if it started off like this.

Just got our roof done with GBC remodeling. Lawrence the sales guy was great. Connected on our level. Explained everything from start to finish. Alex, the project manager, was very informational and friendly as well. The guys came out, scraped the roof off and had a new one finished the next day. Also had our solar uninstalled and reinstalled with them. The solar was reinstalled two days after the roof was finished. So fast!

Great quality. Fast service. Comparing to other construction/contract work these guys are superior. I've had to have contractors come do work and are often unreliable and frustrating to work with. Not GBC.

Lucera has been our point of contact for financing, she's also been beyond great. Finally Aaron, the owner, was great and very personable. We're set to get our a/c soon, can't wait to do business with them again. Would 100% recommend if you're looking for fast, reliable, quality work done. Thank you all!

We had a fabulous experience with GBC. Aaron (owner) personally came out to give us a quote. He was honest, reasonably priced, and upfront with exactly needed to be done. Our project manager, Steven, and his entire crew did an amazing job. We went with Texcote (Coolwall) and are completely satisfied with the work and color palette. Our house looks beautiful and we've received multiple compliments. We will definitely be contacting GBC with any other future home improvement jobs.

During the initial phone call for a new roof installation the office manager asked if I was married. I thought this was strange and a little intrusive. She explained this was because they wanted both decision makers present for the estimate so a decision could be made.

After the roof inspection an estimate was scribbled on one sheet of paper which was barely legible. No copy for the company. The sales person expected a decision to be made at this time and I felt very pressured.

I decided not to sign and in the following days kept getting calls from the office manager who was forceful and rather rude insisting that I call her back.
