DON'T use this company. I made a huge 20,000.00 + mistake by signing a contract with them. As other reviews have stated Lawrence never returned calls, texts or emails once he had my money. That pretty much goes for the rest of the employees as well. Lawrence was a hard sell and extremely pushy. I signed against my better judgment. I said I needed to get other bids. He then did the typical sales technique and knocked of a couple of thousand dollars after conferring with whom I assumed was the owner. I signed with this company Nov.1-21. I'm still waiting for a leak to be repaired after the first big rain of the season mid December. They sent a rep out the night I reported it. He said ( Sonny) he would get back to me. Today is 4-24-22 and you guessed it nothing!! Of course I've pleaded emailed and spoken to most employees in this company hoping for a resolution. They also have failed to respond to finishing the paint trim on the roof. Lawrence and Jessica both asked that I send them the color for the trim and it would be done.
Which I did immediately, nothing to date. I also gave a deposit for an upstairs window replacement 11-1-21. Steve another employee came to measure and said he would put it in as ""Hot"" due to heavy rain expected in December. After speaking with Jessica in February she said the window was in and apologized to me. She assured me ALL of the work would be scheduled and completed ASAP. I then told her I was leaving for Washington State for approximately a month but was greatly relieved to hear that she understood my frustration. I returned from my daughter's house in Washington and began the whole futile calling and getting no where scenario. Finally a newly hired employee (Nathan) reached out to ask me to give them another chance to complete said work. He now is off the radar as well. He's not responded to my texts or phone calls.
After reaching out once again. I received
an email on 4-4-22 from Jessica that Steve would like to start work between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. on 4-5-22. Although I had an important appointment that morning I canceled it to finally get this long overdue work completed. On the morning of the 5th Steve was a no show. I finally called Jessica at 10:00 a.m. to ask where he was. Her response ""He didn't call you""? Not only did he not give me the courtesy of a call but had the wrong size window. At that point I was DONE with GBC. I asked for my deposit back for the window and did receive it. This does not however absolve them for the leak in my garage or the trim painting.
Their warranty isn't worth the paper its written on. I thought by being licensed, bonded and insured I could trust GBC. NOT SO!

GBC replaced all of our windows with beautiful new Anlin windows, and we could not be happier! Stephen was on the job from initial presentation to completion of work. We were confident and at ease throughout the process and his crew was absolutely wonderful. Materials arrived on schedule and work was performed in one day. We wholeheartedly recommend GBC Remodeling and Stephen is the guy you want running the work. Fantastic job, guys!

Wasted a month of our time. I'm glad we backed out and they refund our down payment because we found a better company that are cheaper and deliver what they say they will do. This company only promises you but failed to deliver. Not recommended if you need roofing service.

I called to schedule a estimate on a new roof replacement and two guys Igor and other showed and started a nonsense conversation about what they were about to do on estimating my situation, After about a 20 minute they both came in and sat down and started bullshiting, I told them get to the bottom line and cut to the chase. They quoted me to do this job it would cost me 17k, I told them its 1350 sq ft roof not the Taj Mahal, after which I told them to GET THE ""F"" OUT!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! NO WORK ETHICS!!! Later on Lawrence Avila the manager came at a later date and said that the two guys were gone?? But I had to wonder if that was their style of closing a deal none the less I hired a YELP APPROVED COMPANY NOT GBC

Just finished installation of new windows throughout, worth the wait. The windows look stunning, we opted for black exterior which really add to the appearance of the house.
Steve is a charming, cheerful and very willing to go above and beyond to earn our loyalty and trust.
Easy, clean, quick installation and very competitive pricing.

Instead of painting our house exterior and deck cover AGAIN, we decided to stop painting every four or five years and find a long-term solution. After researching the possibilities (regular painting vs. a long-term solution), we focused on finding a company to apply the CoolWall process to our home.

In addition to coating, we decided to remove some unsightly wood trim, as well. We had read that others had experienced some serious problems with the CoolWall finish. But, after receiving a quote and explaining our product concerns to the GBC Remodeling salesperson, Art, he explained the workers applying the coating are trained and certified by the CoolWall manufacturer and distributor, which is critical to consistently successful installations of CoolWall. He also took the time to show us the detailed process used to do the application, explaining why the coating fails if the process is not followed. The failures typically occur when the coating is applied by companies who are not trained and certified in the process. With his detailed explanation, we were confident to go with CoolWall (and Trim Cote for the fascia trim and deck cover) and GBC. Both products are warranted for as long as you own your home.

The work was completed in October of 2020, and we are very happy with all aspects, including insulation properties, of the final product. We had a significant amount of work done, and I can say that we are very happy with the results delivered by GBC. For any issues that we did have as the work progressed, all I had to do was mention it to the project manager, Steven, and it was quickly taken care of. Their attention to detail and response to eliminating our concerns is the best that I have experienced.

We also decided to go with GBC to replace all 36 windows in our house. They showed us excellent window samples and we chose to go with Anlin windows, which has a transferrable lifetime warranty (even covers breakage!) . As nice as the house already looked after the CoolWall/Trim Cote applications, the windows just made the house pop! Steven is trained in the installation of the windows and did the installation himself. They were installed immaculately and are beautiful. We would probably be kicking ourselves, right now, if we had not chosen to do the windows.

I can't say enough about Steven's management of our project, and highly recommend GBC Remodeling for any remodeling goals and projects you may have.

What can I say, I was looking for a different GC to complete our exterior stucco/repairs, and after doing some research came across GBC Remodeling. I am so pleased to have a company that was extremely informative, courteous and on the same level from the start. They were prompt from the initial meeting all the way through the construction, and made sure all items were addressed and taken care of. Steve was the PM on the job and he was out on site every few days to make sure everything was going as planned and on schedule with the crews. The crews were early and cleaned up the site at the end of everyday.

Overall my experience with GBC has been nothing short of amazing and I will definitely be back for any future remodeling needs as they went above and beyond my expectations. If you need a great company this is the one for you. Thank you again team, you really have set the new expectation now in my books.

There seems to be some problems coming from the top. They refuse to finish the project for customers after they've collected their money. They apparently give you the best warranty, but the warranties aren't registered with the manufacturer. For future customers thinking about getting a roof done, please consider going with another contractor that will be honest with their work, prices, and warranty.
