Recommended Customer Reviews

I recently had my roof replaced by Garabar. There salesman came over and we agreed to a price. Work.was rather slow. Our problem.with garabar was they wanted our money more than they cared about the project. They required final payment before the work was fully completed. They were slow to send us our final inspection report. They only replaced two of our 4 removed gutters until we withheld final payment. Until this very day we are missing a replacement of a piece if equipment and an explanation of our wind mitigation report. At Garabar payment is more important than customer service. This was in my opinion a poor experience.

Garabar installed new roof and with that came new gutters. Water is leaking behind my gutters and the fascia board due to incorrect installation. Garabar will not return my calls or emails and still has not come out to repair their mistake. I have paid them in full....

If it was possible to leave 0 stars to leave a review I would. I signed the contract with Garabar mid last year for approx 60k to reroof. They tore off my roof and that night I had water leaks throughout my home. They placed the underlayment and for 6 months left it exposed throughout hurricane season, rain, sun and wind. Had another leak throughout the process, the underlayment seemed to be lifting in many areas. They never added a second layer before adding the tiles. After 6 months I finally received the roof tiles in January of this year. It's June, 5 months after the tiles were placed and the mortar/cement is cracking all over the roof. Literally all over. They sent a guy from their painting department to repair my roof and he could not believe the roof was new. They didn't even send their roofing crew for a roof repair. They sent a painter. The cracks on the cement is literally all over the roof. The fact that the whole roof needs to be repaired after 5 months is a huge problem. The tiles look worn and have white lines throughout. Communication with this company is awful. They do not care about the quality and integrity of the roof. I am warning you, do not make the same mistake I made. They have made this whole process a nightmare. I have remodeled my whole house and have worked with many contractors and this one by far is the worst experience I have ever had to endure.

Scam company. Gave estimate for roof replacement and when asked to sign the contract they suddenly double the price. Stay away!

Bait and Switch tactics.
Had a sales guy come for an estimate on a roof. He flaunted the companies 10 year guarantee and then after I had some questions about the appraisal, he said the guarantee was no longer offered because it had been raining. Its always raining so Im assuming they never have to stick by their guarantee??

Garabar was one of a handful of companies I contacted to get an estimate on new windows.
While the gentleman showed up on time for our appointment, I found him to be difficult to work with and not a very good listener. I indicated that I wanted a particular kind of impact window, but he kept trying to upsell me on features and products that I had no interest in.
I also felt like it wasn't very customer forward of Garabar to hide the pricing details. We received our estimate a couple of days after our appointment. The estimate outlined the project pretty well, but there were zero pricing details, just a total of $45,000.
When I asked our contact if he could tell me more about the costs of the windows he gave me a big song and dance about how $45,000 is the ""job cost"" and that he wasn't able to tell me how much the windows themselves cost. I wonder why that is? Every other company I got a quote from provided me with the details and lower quotes too btw.
I went into our meeting with high hopes, but Garabar did not come out of this looking good in my eyes. Trying to obfuscate item costs is a big red flag for me (and I assume for most consumers as well). I would not recommend them at all.

Shame on you Garabar roofing for the damage you caused while installing my new roof and now refusing to repair despite your own employees recommendation. Didn't have leak prior to your installing new roof and gutter, now I do. Waiting for you to do the right thing.

Our roof was replaced by Garabar with flat cement tiles. The ridge cap tiles were installed and the concrete filler that was used to fill in the gap between the flat surface and the ridge tiles cracked within 6 months of installation. The crack runs along the entire ridge at the top of the roof and all the other smaller ridges, and when I brought this to their attention, the foreman from our job said that was only aesthetic and will not cause leakage. Only Aesthetic! 5 other houses on our street had the same style roof installed and none have the long cracks that we have in our roof! No pride in workmanship. I've written emails and called their office in Lake Worth and no one will return my calls or emails. Don't be fooled by the fancy website or vehicles because once they have your money, they definitely don't want to hear from you!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ROOF WORK.
Lets start off with the estimate this is what I was written from the rep at Garabar
""It was a pleasure speaking with you today. Please see the attached roof replacement contract."" total for the job $31120.
now my feelings on this is if you are doing a roof replacement that means a whole roof replacement. or they should word their communications and estimates differently. there is roof repair which would be fixing areas of the roof and roof replacement which means you are replacing the roof wood and all.
So after we signed contract and started the job months later(but no issues with that as I understand supply chain issues etc) the come to us with 2 other bills on top of our $31120 bill. they billed us now for wood $2674 and for sofit they break to do the roof $175 so almost $3000 in addition to the original estimate of a roof replacement.
I am sorry this should be all included in the original estimate ESPECIALLY when it is classified as a ROOF REPLACEMENT. who ever does a new roof and does not replace all wood as well? that is a true roof replacment to me you are doing a repair if you are not changing out all the wood.
And on top of that no one tells you before they do it how much it will be and how much they are replacing? so how do we know they used as much wood as they said they did etc?
like I said buyer beware of this company me personally i would look elsewhere and get your roofing needs taken care of by an honest roofing company

They seem like a well run company. I can't speak to their prices as we live in a rental. However, I am frustrated at their lack of cleaning up after working. I have found cans and tape all over my yard. And even worse, screws and sharp pieces of metal everywhere. They have done a horrible job cleaning up. My husband had a flat tire just from parking in our driveway, and I'm scared to let my children or dog outside. I even tried contacting the company, but was just put on hold for too long.
