I read the previous ratings and was surprised as my experience was as perfect as it could be! Chance Galloway, was very responsive, answered my questions (which were many) and was professional at all times! He completed a roof replacement for our 1100 SF ranch home. He cleaned up and it looks beautiful!!
He even sent me the receipts after I lost it! He was so kind and friendly I would recommend him. It's apparent he has made changes to be able to deliver excellent service to his customers!

Started on my roof 2 weeks ago. Had to pick up their trash after them. Left parts laying around. The owner of the company, Dave, nor project manager,Leo, has responded to my text, which have ALL been respectfull, since Wednesday, 3 days ago. The roof still isn't done and communication has been HORRIBLE throughout! This isn't even all of it, just the short and ""sweet"".

On top of all this, they hired subcontractors to do my roof that left ruts in my yard. I was going to wait tell after the project to leave a review but they stopped communicating. I don't know when they will be back or if I will be told....

I will update on the quality once finished....

The worst experience from start to finish. They showed up with no notice, left a mess and did a poor job. We received the bill two months later and told them about all of the problems- their fix was to send more people out to do nothing. Then they send someone who tells us nothing is wrong. Then the same guy is shown pictures of the problems and finally gets it - oh those damaged shingles are a problem? Wow - look elsewhere save yourself the migraine.

So I called Galloway for an estimate to have 8 satellite dishes removed from our townhome building. I was told to be home between 2-3pm to meet with their rep. I stopped what I was doing that day, picked up my 83 year old dad from day care and got home to meet them. I waited until about 4 pm to call and ask when they would be getting here. I was told to hold and then after 5 minutes they came back on and told me that the man came to see the work in question but didn't know he was supposed to meet with me. Ok, well I was a little annoyed as it interrupted my dad and I from out day but ok. She then advised me that I would get the estimate the next day in an email. Well two days passed and I called to enquirer about email, that never showed up. Was told that she would talk to the rep and have it sent that day or the next. That was last week. They don't answer my calls or return my emails...at all anymore. What kind of nonsense is this?? How unprofessional and rude. I had explained that our annual board meeting was coming up and I wanted to have the estimate ti present to my other board members so we could get the unsightly satellites removed.
What a huge disappointment and I would not trust this company to ANY job, big pr small. Shame on them!

While they provided a detailed quote and checked all my boxes for things like no subcontractors, obtain the permit and NOC, provide a warranty and register the warranty, etc., where they fail miserably is their 3 pages of legal disclaimers that in effect, put all liability on the homeowner and none on Galloway Roofing. For example, and a HUGE red flag, is the homeowner must agree to giving up their rights under Florida Statute 489.126. There are many other rights the homeowner must agree to give up putting the entire burden of ANYTHING that goes wrong, on the homeowner. If an issue needs litigation, the homeowner must agree that they will pay for ALL fees for ALL parties regardless of outcome. Seriously!? Anyone who signs this kind of contract with them is out of their mind. We all hear, READ THE FINE PRINT. Do it and you will see that there are many, many other roofing companies that will do a professional job for a LOT less and no one, and I mean no one, attaches 3 pages of legal disclaimer to their quotes. I obtained quotes from 8 other local roofing companies and so glad I did. Steer clear of Galloway Roofing in Englewood, Fl. You'll be so glad that you did.

Well, I thought they were a good company a year ago, BUT now the repair they made is leaking. I called last week 6/4/2020 when we were having lots of rain. Was told by Sid, would try and get someone out Friday. Did not happen / no call. I called Monday and was told again by Sid ""maybe Wednesday or Thursday"". Let her know I was not happy and this was a prior repair that has failed. So, Sid called me yesterday morning to let me know they would be out today June 10th. I went over to the mainland and left them a pass for the ferry 1st thing this morning.
5:33 pm, no call, no repairman here.

Galloway, you are no longer my Roofing Company. I have ID'd another company in Englewood, FL since 1980!

I asked for an estimate and was told Ricky would be out to do an inspection and gave me a two hour window. I was going to leave work to show him what the problem was and where and he ended up going to my house hours earlier than stated, not even sure he got up on the roof, and was told he would email me his estimate. That never happened. When I called to inquire what was taking so long, Pam told me she would ask Ricky and call me back. That also never happened. This company either does not need the business, doesn't care about potential customers or is just run by total idiots. Never have I dealt with such unprofessionalism. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I have a home watch company in Port Charlotte. I have a client's home which experience leakage into one bedroom from the roof. I scheduled a roof inspection 10/3/17 for Ricky, I was given a 2 hour window for the appointment. Pam, the office coordinator put a note on the schedule for Ricky to call 1/2 hour prior to arrival so I could meet him at the property, then take him inside to show him where the damage was in relationship to the exterior roof area. He never phoned, I called at the end of the 2 hour window and spoke with Pam, she called Ricky and he said no one was home so he went up on the roof and did the exterior inspection without knowing where the home was damaged inside. I was assured the inspection and report would indicate where the roof was damaged (even though from the ground there is NO visible damage). I waited 2 weeks for the inspection report which never came, so I called back, Pam answered and remembered my right off, she call Ricky to ask when the report would be completed and I was told within a few days. It is now nearly 3 months later and still no report, my client came back several weeks ago for the winter and is handling the issue himself. I am sad to report this type of thing happened 2 years ago with this same company as well. They were off my vendor list but got this gig because the client chose them based on availability in getting them out to look at the possible damage. Even if they come out the next day it doesn't do any good if they never tell you where the damage is or how to fix it does it? They are off my vendor list forever and I would suggest everyone steer clear of this company as well.

I just had to share my wonderful experience with Galloway Roofing! We discovered a leak in our business and I immediately called Galloway Roofing. They were there within 2 hours to evaluate the damage, find the leak, and repair it. We are now 3 months later and a hurricane has passed and there was no leak! Definitely recommend this business. They are fast, honest, and reliable...
