Galla-Rini Roofing Just finished a job for me in Anaheim and did a fantastic job. They were fast, friendly and competitive on price. They took care of getting the permit and the roof turned out great. I highly recommend them if you need a new roof in your future.

We had a leak so they came out and gave me a quote for $1450 to replace 300 sq feet of roofing to repair leak. Got a second opinion and it wasn't even the roof but one of the vents that were installed incorrectly. Repair cost me $200.

I updated my roof from wood shingles that came originally on my house from 1954 last year to tile roof. Gallarini did an amazing job, replaced all the roten wood, got the support that the heavy roof needed and put on the new beautiful roof. They did the whole job in 6 days. Cleaned up well afterwards. Only downside the cost, but comparable to the market plus good work. Thank you Gallarini. I delt with John and the owner Miles.

I am sorry that I have to write a bad review for this company. Let me start with my story. My mom saw David, the salesman, at my neighbor's house across street one morning. So, my mom went over and asked for the business card due to my house was ready for the re-roofing project. We talked to my neighbor and heard many good things about this company. So, I made the phone call and set up an appointment with David. He came out and have a thorough talk with my parents and I on the detail of the job. Then, we made the decision to let them do the job.

Miles, David's son-in-law, came out on the first day of the job. They emailed me and let me know that the crew would be at my house on the Mid-morning a day before. David and Miles showed up around 11am, but not the crew. They explained that the crew was at another location and tried to finish up the job. Both of them walked around the house and we did talked about what needed to be done for the final walk-thru. Then, both of them took off. Guess what, the crew did not show up until 3: 50pm. They took 10 minutes to sit down and have ice cream. Then, they started to work and the supervisor of the crew left around 4:45pm. Then, the crew left about 4:55pm. I purposely took a day off from the job to wait for them due to my parents don't speak English. I felt that I just wasted my day off for nothing! It's a Thursday, then I got a text message from David saying that they would work on Saturday as well. I assumed that this was a make-up for Thursday due to they don't usually work on weekend. The roof was pretty much done on Saturday. But, my father and I were unhappy with a piece of missing wood on the board of the exterior roof and some other works. So, I took pictures and asked them to come back on Monday. They did come back to fix that problem. I was there and kind of watching over the final touch for the house. But, we were in and out of the house and didn't know when the crew left. After they're done, we walked around the house and found some chipped and holes on the boards of the exterior wood.

I texted David and asked them to be back to fix it due to we didn't have those damage before the re-roofing project. At the time, we had not paid the final payment yet. Miles came out on Tuesday and walked through the house while my mother, whom doesn't speak English, had pointed to him about the problems. He didn't speak to me on the phone regarding the issue, but my mom said everything was okay over the phone. So, I told Miles that he could go ahead to charge the final payment on the credit card. But, when my father and I got home after work, my mom said that Miles told her that he could not do anything about the chipped issue and holes on the boards. I was surprise to know that due to that's the main issue that I asked him to come out. I texted David and didn't get any respond on Tuesday night. I finally emailed David on Friday and stressed out this issue. He got back to me on the email and saying that he would forward it to Miles. Miles asked for more pictures and saying that, ""The wood she showed me was existing and passed inspection. We can go back but we will have to charge for it."" However, the problem is we don't have the chipped and holes on the board before the re-roofing, so why should we pay for the damage for now?

I asked the question and this was the respond that I had back from Miles. ""We can replace these pieces for a service call of $300-$400. As you know the inspect checks the exterior wood and passed the inspection. These boards, if they happened after the installation may have been due to the movement on the roof and not the negligence of the crew. Let me know if we will do the service call. It would take a few hours."" Does it make sense to you all?

We never have the holes and chipped before the re-roofing, and we have to be responsible for paying the damage after the re-roofing! My family never set our feet on the roof before or after the work. How do we make the movement on the roof to cause the damage? My family is very disappointed with their customer service. Now, we have to hire someone else to fix this problem due to we are tire of getting so many excuses from them. I have attach some photos, so you all can see what I am trying to explain to you all.

After talking all of these, I have to be fair on one thing. They did a good job on the roof for my house. They have 10 years warranty. The only thing that making me concerned is the customer service!

I had such high expectations when I was referred by a home inspector, Steve form Bilt-rite company b/c he was so thorough in inspecting our new home! He spent a long time and so very detailed as you will find out by talking to him on the phone. Well, the guy David, Miles' dad, I think came out to inspect our roof to give us an estimate, nice gentleman who likes to talk about his thoroughness and how good he is, he did spend a lot of time talking to us and answering our questions about the roof. He's old. He did not bring any ladders with him and stated that he wouldn't go up the ladder anyway b/c he's too old. He came by I forget if out of courtesy for our schedule, on his way to 1 or 2 weddings, so he only brought his binoculars. No camera, again no ladders to check the roof like the website says. He promised to send us a detailed estimate. I used my camera to take the pictures from way down below.

They came and did the job, I presumed, b/c they left the gates open so anyone in public could've walked into the court yard. the nightmare came when I asked for receipt and pictures to show what roof, shingles, etc were ACTUALLY done or replaced so that I can have some sort of record if I resell the house or if there are leaks for warranty's sake... you know the old adage, if it's not written and only word of mouth, it's not worth squat. This is when David became very angry and texted me, called me like crazy. He wanted to be paid the following morning at 7:30am. I said that I needed a receipt, pictures or some paperwork to show exactly how many shingles, roofs, valleys, etc were done. The estimate was general... I asked him exactly how many broken tiles roof were there, etc, he had no answer, told me he'll find out.. then told me like 20, 30 or so..what? I think they should know b/c they'll have to buy the new ones. I doubt that many were broken, then he said that he didn't know. In regards to the receipt, I'll have to pay extra charge to get a receipt of what was done. What the fiddlesticks?! charge me more money to get a receipt with pictures or some indication what was done?? when I told him that I can't pay him without some documentation with what was done, he went crazy, calling me, harassing me saying they'll put a lien on the home, all this crazy talk. He says that he'll get ""fired"" from his son, etc...

In the end, Miles ended up calling me, apologizing and told me that he'll send a receipt and pictures. David did text a bunch of pictures with few words, can't really tell anything on them. The final receipt which took a while to get was also very rudimentary. David basically at the end told me that they charge a flat fee to fix/inspect roofs regardless of how many roof shingles were broken or slipped, etc. Hence, the initial inspection is probably not necessary since they charge a flat fee and don't provide any details on the receipt of what was done, how many,, etc. David did end up calling me and asking for my forgiveness which was kind of him. He says the roof warranty is 2-3 years on the phone and he can come up anytime to check without charge.

I guess I'll wait and see. The realtor was shocked on the simple estimate paperwork non informational that we were first given, again no pictures. We went with them b/c we loved Steve the home inspector and he highly recommended this company. Our previous roofer, went up on our roof took pictures and left us behind in the trash the broken roof shingles, etc and picture of what was broken/replaced. We should've gone with him again. Anyway, this company may end up still be helpful for us in the future, fingers crossed, but this whole we don't take pictures, we give general estimates and no receipts/pictures of finished product is bad business practice if not shady to say the least... and yes I paid them in case you're wondering.

I'm a little biased because I know the owner's wife, but that's why I called them in the first place when we bought our home. They came out to check on our roof, and make sure everything was sealed up and it was in good condition. They also installed a new fan on our roof, and made it blend in really well.

Well, I had to call them back this week - a squirrel chewed through our garage roof. I was so glad I had a roofer I knew and trusted to take care of this. David came out for our consult, so that work hasn't been done yet, but I'm sure we'll be just as happy with their professionalism as we were the first time.

We worked with Dave and Miles and they were very friendly and professional. Kept us up to date on the status since replacing roofs take a few a days and require inspection by the city as well. Dave, the sales guy was very friendly, did not try to pressure us into signing a contract or hound us when we were not ready. The 2 other roofers we talked to were very aggressive over the phone.

We had our roof replaced a year ago and I purposely waited a year and for a bunch of storms (as much as there is in Southern California) to see if there were any issues with the roof.

I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for roofers.
