We have a pergola that needed a roof and gutter. This is a small job and probably most roofers would not want the job. I was referred to Mario Ramos of G West through a contractor friend. Mario came out, looked the job over, gave several roof option recommendations, provided sample material, gave a competitive quote and told me when he could start the job and how long the job would take. He and a small crew showed up on the indicated date/time and completed the job in the stated time. They were very professional and courteous. I can only give the highest recommendation to Mario, his crew and G West roofing.

We've had leak around the chimney for a while. During the heavy rain, the water would not flow into the gutter, instead, it became a waterfall from the rotten plywood outside the 2nd floor windows, followed by annoying dripping noise on my roof the whole night. I have climbed up there many times and I know the tiles were fine, just could not figure out the culprit. Of course, I could not get too closed to the problematic area for the safety reasons.
Thanks to Yelp, we had 6 groups came for estimation, 2 actually climbed up to the roof with me, and Alberto from G West Roofing was one of them, which I think is essential to make a fair quote. 2 of 6 told me their minimum charge would be beyond 5 grands without even being up there, 1 left a very competitive quote but became unresponsive later, 1 made a reasonable quote but with very ambiguous contract (did not go up), the rest two were both courteous and trustable (both were up there), but I selected GWest Roofing since Alberto shared lots of useful advice on my roof condition during his first visit and won my trust.
Alberto came and removed around 20+ tiles, and turned out the underlayment was cracked on the edge, thus the water under the tile would not flow into the gutter, rather found its way between the gutter and the underlayment. He replaced the underlayment cloths, some cracking wood, replaced the flashing of the vents which were the reason of why water went under the tiles, then replaced the rotten plywood. What a job! I am very satisfied with the quality of work and every diagnosis and action all make great sense to me.
I finally found my roofer after 10 years of searching!

We hired G West Roofing to give us a brand new roof on our home this week, and they did a super amazing job! Joe Cunniff, the sales rep, explained all of the procedures involved, and the materials that would be used. G West also was able to fix the dry rot that was called out by our pest control company on the facia boards. They replaced the boards and then primed and painted using our trim paint. We really appreciated getting this taken care of!
The crew showed up promptly before 8 AM every morning, and worked diligently each day, finishing in 3 1/2 days. They were all courteous and hard-working, and detailed. What I really liked was that at the end of each day they cleaned the job site up to our satisfaction.
We just love our new roof! Highly recommend this family, run company with owner Mario at the helm.

WOW!! What a GREAT JOB!!!

G-West Roofing knocked it out of the park. They just completed a new roof, gutters, and Roof Jacks on my home. They were done in no time at all.

Joe Cunniff, the Salesperson, reviewed my property and showed me the options; in about 10 minutes, I had a written quote in my hand.

Once on the job site, Mario, the Crew Lead, was on time, courteous, and friendly. Was able to answer all my questions. The crew cleaned the work area daily of any nails and debris.

I am thrilled with my decision to go with G-West and the work performed.
They are a good company.
