One star is actually higher than what is deserved...based on customer service and workmanship from this company! I wanted to provide work to a local company, and after searching thought, G&W would be a good fit. The process of quoting started last week of May and job wasn't completed until August 13! Now I understand the weather plays a big part in roofing jobs, what is wrong with this company is the extreme lack of communication. Every step of the process was extremely difficult, a lack of respect, and misinformation. I have streams of texts, emails, and v-mails where I had to initiate pulling information from the rep.s, job site supervisor, and owner. Then when work did finally begin, upon replacing the skylights the workers did not cover the hole properly overnight, and when a rainstorm came through so did a stream of water come through into the interior of the house! Upon calling the posted emergency phone number I wasn't able to get through due to the number on the company's auto-response is incorrect. Had to find another supervisor to handle the problem. The following night, once again the skylight hole was not properly covered and a pile of roofing debris and tar came crashing down into the interior of the house causing quite a mess. Every time I communicated with the folks at G&W (with exception of the owner) I was treated with disrespect and excuses. So, if you are in the Daytona Beach area and need to replace your roof, you may want to look elsewhere than working with G&W. My only hope (because I have lost all trust) is that the job is up to spec and will hold up without any leaks, etc. for the expected life of a new roof.

We agree with Nick! It's been 1 1/2 months, and they have no idea or plans as to how long it will take to complete this roof, AND 1/2 of it was only patched! They are slow, unorganized, inconsiderate and obviously blind to the inconvenience and confusion they are causing. Some have left, but unfortunately, most of this 75-unit condo has nowhere to run! Choose another company if you value your peace of mind.

Avoid this company. They originally said they they would be out in 4-5 weeks, This turned into 4 months, Never did i get a call from anyone at the company. After 8 weeks i called the company 4 times before I got a call back. They were scheduled to make the repairs today and just called to say they wouldnt be out and would contact me after the hurricane to reschedule.
