Thanks to Tony, David and the crew of GIS Contracting Company for completing renovations on our kitchen, dining room and replacing our kitchen cabinets. GIS was very responsive to the initial inquiry and first home visit to discuss our ideas. They were very transparent about costs and things to consider for our project to keep us within our budget. Tony, David and crew offered small suggestions and ideas before and throughout the project that really made the initial vision even better! The entire kitchen was a custom build from the cabinets to the dining room shelving and storage. 

Each team member that came into our home treated us and our property with the upmost respect and courtesy. We were impressed that each crew member that was sent into our home to do a job, did that job very professionally, thoroughly and with a great deal of pride in the job they completed. Each person made sure to clean up the work area before leaving each day. Very pleased with all of the work the crews completed.

The only challenge was that Tony and /or David did not always notify us when a person or persons would not be working in our home on a specific day. While the day to day communication could have been better, Tony and David were responsive in returning calls and texts. The job turned out very BEAUTIFUL -- just like Tony said it would :) The crew members did a marvelous job on the project.

Plane and simple the WORST experience I have EVER had with anyone, PERIOD ! Run away ! It's sad I have to give them even 1 star !

They said they would come out, were 1.5 hours late. I called to ensure they would visit. I was told 30 minutes.
Another 1.5 hours, 2nd guy calls. Tony is sick, I can help. OK, I tell him I need a repair. OHHHH I though this was a bid, I don't do repairs. Let me see what I can do.

Mind you, it's my birthday and it was spent wasted waiting on them. Another 1.5 hours, we can't get out there today, how about in 3 days. They come out, I told them EXACTLY what was wrong. They take a look, oh we were just at Home Depot, had I known, I would have grabbed that part. I have some supplies to drop off and can be back in 2 hours.

NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALLS !!!

Then, my leak went from minor to a little worse. Took 4 more days to get someone else out here to fix it. Then screwing me over took a $225 repair into a $1,000 deductible for home insurance to repair water damage, it will now take 2 weeks for my home to get back to normal !!! Hate these guys is NOT EVEN close to what I think of this company ! Unprofessional !! Did not walk in with masks on either !! These were the ONLY people I have had not wear masks. STAY AWAY FOLKS !!!

Spoke with the coordinator and set up an appt. for two days later. No one ever showed, called or texted. I left a message and no call back. Very unprofessional.

My hot water heater broke during the winter storm in February. After having difficulties with several plumbers, Tony answered my call and came within 24 hours. He was able to fix my water heater in minutes. Great guy, great service. I will be using Tony again for other contracting needs in the future.

A pipe burst in the middle of the recent Big Freeze, and we were without water. Tony answered the phone, which was not the norm for service providers at the time, and drove on the icy roads to get to us. He and his team were professional and polite-just good people. They got the job done, helped with a couple other items that had stopped working around the house, and then went next door to help our neighbors. Tony will always be our first call!

We had an Excellent experience with G.I.S plumbing...not only did they actually answer the phone, but they were able to make it to our house the next day! They were servicing over 15 homes per day after the snow storm. They were courteous & experienced...they had a crew to figure out the problem. Fixed it...we had running water in an hour! They were very help! They will be coming back to repair drywall after they get as many people as they can up & running with water.

Tony was extremely responsive and communicated with me throughout the 2021 storm and water/power outages. He had a team out to my house same day my water came on to
make sure there were no leaks. I appreciate so much the peace of mind and the friendliness of him and his whole team. I will be calling again!
