While employed at a roofing company for three months, I discovered a roof that needed new decking due to rotting. I alerted my boss, but he told me to simply roof over the damaged areas. Determined to do the right thing, I purchased the needed materials out of my own pocket. Unfortunately, when my employer found out, he fired me for doing what I believed was right.
