Freeman roofing came to my house and completed an inspection for my 33 year old cement roof. He found some broken tiles and debris that needed to be cleaned out, or replaced. He quoted me a reasonable price, and I had him come out a few weeks later.

He got up on the roof and did what he needed to do in a timely manner by taking care of the repairs.

He's an honest guy, and I will definitely call him back in a few years to inspect my roof and make necessary repairs.

He was hired by the original homeowner, and I was bit worried when after removing the old roof with group of 4/5 guys contracted by him,that he was only guy working to put in the roof. He was very fast and done within few days for two story 2200 sq ft house. The only problem with his work was after he left on the 1st day, it looked like rain was coming and we had many boxes in the garage that wasn't finished. They would have got wet except new neighbors came n covered it with tarps.
Other thing was group hired to remove original roof left a lot of the old roof in backyard. Which he never picked up so I did it.
I didn't hire him but our realtor strongly recommended him and she had never been wrong. So we never dealt with pricing etc. I would urge people to check roofer's licenses on California State contractors board website. Some had suspended licenses and clearly weren't honest. Freeman's was in good standing when I checked in late 90's. He was fast n did such a good job I felt he deserved a good review.

I've worked with Carl Freeman of FREEMAN ROOFING for several years now. He has a good reputation, and also came referred to my by my painter MARC PARHAM PAINTING. First, he is an honest, and reliable roofer, who will not bid out more work than is necessary. He is licensed, and bonded; (you'd be surprised how many ""roofers"" have other kinds of work listed on their license paperwork, and just take on roofing for the extra money.) He is available by telephone, or text for convenience, and was able to schedule my work within the week - during peak season. He even repaired the flashing of another roofer. Lastly, he stands by his work, and has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right, even years later, he'll make it right. He provided concrete roof tile replacement, and flashing replacement, and repair. He drafted a clean bill of health of my roof, for the home inspector / real estate agent. PS: Mr. Freeman is a Christian - friendly business, and takes American Express (and all other credit cards.)

My dad had a 40 year roof put on his house in 1993. In 2013, Dad passed on, and we had to get the house ready for sale. I had noticed roofing material coming off the roof, so I contacted 3 licensed roofing contractors. Carl Freeman had previously done work at my house, so I contacted him first. Carl inspected the roof and explained that a manufacturer had provided sub par roof ridge material in the 1990's, and that was why we were having problems. Otherwise, the roof was in good shape. He gave me a quote of $740 to fix the problems on the roof, including putting in a new row of shingles besides replacing the roof ridge material. I contacted two other roofing contractors listed on Yelp for Vacaville.

One of the other contractors also said that the roof was in good condition but just needed the ridge line replaced. He quoted me $1200. The other roofing company came out, and the representative said that he could repair the roof for approximately $4200, but I should really get a new roof for approximately $10,000.

When I asked my realtor for advice, she also confirmed Carl Freeman as being a good roofing contractor. Needless to say, I called Car Freeman, and he did the roofing repair. Later, when the house was inspected prior to sale, the roof was inspected, and there were no problems found.

I recommend Carl Freeman and would not hesitate to use him again. He was very easy to work with and very reasonable.
