I finally called Freeman Roofing and from beginning to end it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Fair, honest, no drama, with high quality results. Joe Freeman did what he said he would do and more! It's so nice to have a such a large project go so well. Two buildings are done, we have one more to go! Joe and his team did a great job on our roof. Joe came out and did an initial inspection of our roof and quoted us for the work. His team came out and did quick work of the tear down and replaced a number of sections of the roof with dry rot. The new roof went up quickly and passed inspection without any issues. I felt good about the work these guys did, they replaced all the old fixtures ontop of the house and made sure the seals were all refreshed.

I was able to work with him to install some sun tunnels which I roughed in and his guys secured and finished. He didn't charge me extra, which was great.

I can't speak highly enough about Freeman Roofing. From start to finish, even with the unwelcome discoveries that followed removal of my old roof, Joe and his crew were terrific. Honest, hard working and easy to work with, great communication, and a high-quality finished product. Joe returned my first phone call within a day, which was incredible, given that none of the other roofers I called EVER called back during our recent torrential rainstorms. Joe said he was very busy but he'd try to fit me in. He came to look at the roof, and quickly put me at ease by his demeanour, which is relaxed and forthright, explaining in detail how/why the roof had failed and what he proposed to replace the roof and improve drainage so it wouldn't fail again any time soon. The crew worked diligently until the job was done, cleaning up every last bit of debris from the staging area, which I greatly appreciated, and they were at all times respectful and polite. The price could have been astronomical, given what happened to my roof in the middle of the job (not anything that was Freeman Roofing's fault), but Joe kept the costs tremendously reasonable. He's kind of a miracle worker. I like this man. I think he's an unusually ethical and kind human being, and I think the quality of the company's work is also rare. Two thumbs up.

It is not very often that you get to use a great roofing contractor 2 times within a year. We were lucky enough to be able to. Last year we contacted Joe about doing our roof in Pittsburg. He was great! He came out took pictures and explained all what he would need to do to get the job done. His pricing was very reasonable so I booked him to replace my roof. The crew that came out was fast, professional and did a top rate job. We had our first rainy season in a number of years and had absolutely no problems with the roof! This year we bought a new house and it was in need of a new roof. I knew right off who we would call. Joe came right out examined the roof and gave me a prompt quote. Even though this is his most busy season Joe promised me that he would fit me in and get the roof done BEFORE the rainy season started. Joe ever true to his word a few weeks later sent over a crew and started working on our new place. Again the crew was fast, professional and did a top rate job. We cannot say enough good things about Joe Freeman and the way he runs his company! I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their roof repaired or replaced!

Freeman Roofing is a quality company you can trust. Joe's crew just finished replacing the original roof on our home built in the early 80s. The new roof looks great and all of the dry rot repairs we needed were done correctly and with superb quality. The job was executed in a timely fashion and his crew is clearly highly skilled in this trade and the finished product reflects that. I won't hesitate to refer my friends and neighbors to Freeman Roofing and will certainly request their expertise again should I need it.

We LOVE our new roof. Joe was great! The quote was VERY competitive. He didn't ask for ANY MONEY up front. The job was done in less than 3 days, as promised. They never left any messes at the end of each day...didn't find a single nail or piece of trash! BEAUTIFUL work! Our house looks great with our new roof!!

Joe's crew was really good. They did the tear down of the old roof and put up the new roof in just two days. I was worried that we would get rain in our attic because it rained and hailed really hard right after they tore down the old roof. I went up on the roof with plastic tarp expecting the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the guys had completely covered the roof with waterproofing before they left for the day. The next day they came and took down the waterproofing and then put up the new roof and they were done by 3pm. They put up new gutters and fixed the downspouts that were crooked, but the new gutters don't properly drain. Leaving stagnant water in the gutters is a breeding place for mosquitos. Because Joe doesn't take credit cards (which we weren't told up front) we ended up paying an additional $524 when we paid via PayPal (which is the same thing). Not happy about that, but Joe has to pay fees to accept credit or Paypal, so it only makes sense to pass those fees on to customers who don't want to pay cash. We would just just liked to have known that up front (it's the 21st century after all). I did ask the crew before they left if they tested the gutters for proper draining and they said they did. Clearly that was not true. However, making them drain properly would likely mean setting them at an awkward angle that wouldn't look good with the roof line. So it is what it is. Overall, I'm happy with the job Joe did. Just not about the additional fees and the gutters.
