Not everyoneiswill to work on a flat roof. They gave me a bid and was able to start right away. They were very easy to work with. Franco Roofing took pictures during each step and then texted them to me. I feel confident that my roof will last for a long time. The team at Franco Roofing went above and beyond to make my roof look good. I think the price was fair. I am glad I chose them.

Jorje and his whole family were extremely professional and easy to work with. They did an impeccable job at a very reasonable price. He informed me that there would be an added cost depending on the damage he discovered and we redid the estimate once we saw what needed to be done. It turned out the that the extra work was a little more than he had anticipated but charged me no extra after the second estimate. I would use them again in a heart beat.

Jorge has been the most communicative and punctual contractor I have ever worked with. He was recommended to me by another roofing company with a ton of 5 stars reviews, because they couldn't do flat roofs - that itself carries a lot of weight.
Jorge's team delivered a very thorough job with pictures sent to me along the way explaining the situation. We had a flat roof needed replacing after 15+ years. We suspected there were some rotted wood damage that needed fixing - it was a big worry as I have heard many horrific stories how bad it could go. It turned out the quote was reasonable after opening it up and everything was done within 2 days by the team. Jorge went an extra mile even taking off the interior ceiling for me not being part of the scope.

Hats off to him who came back after a few days painting the soffit they missed - it's refreshing to have a contractor being that responsible.

He may not be the cheapest bid you get but I felt very comfortable working with him on such a sizeable project. I would definitely pay a little more to get the quality and an honorable roofer for the peace of mind!

We were looking to replace our gutters and searched a few places such as home depot, thumbtack, and yelp. After receiving a few estimates, my husband and I settled on Gerardo's company. He provided a timely estimate and was very professional. On the day of work, he and his workers replaced our gutters (plus 2 wood panels) in 6 hours. We will definitely call them when its time to replace our roof!

We were put in contact with this company through another roofing contractor. Call goes straight to voicemail. After they finally called back, an estimate appointment was set up he came out and said they could do the job. And I told him my name four times he could not once get it correct. I was told an estimate would be provided the following week and before the July 4th holiday. More than 5 business days to prepare it and get it to me, mind you. When I called today the call again goes straight to voicemail but this time the recording is recorded stating the business name not just ""leave a message, I'll call you back"". So then almost an hour later I get a text that says we are too busy. And again I was called by the wrong name after clearly, twice, on my voicemail stating my name and number when inquiring about the delayed estimate. Two weeks ago they could do the work now today they can not nor would they pick up the phone at any time to inform me of that. It may have been a small job but that customer service reflects highly on you as a contractor. Why would I not recommend this contractor?: 1. Can't get the customer's name right after repeatedly being told the correct name both in person and via voice mail. 2. Contradicts saying themselves saying the job can be done 1 week, then they are too busy to do it another. 3. Does not submit estimate as promised. 4. Uses text to break off communication with the customer rather than a phone call to explain the sudden change of decision.

On Monday, December 17, 2018, a vehicle with Franco's corporate identification -- a red pickup truck -- cut suddenly and aggressively into my lane, forcing me to jam on my brakes and nearly causing a collision. The incident occurred at 12:40 PM while traveling northward on Piedmont Avenue just north of Dwight Way in Berkeley.

As traffic proceeded northward on Piedmont and onto Gayley Road, I was traveling behind the truck. On the long portion between South Drive and Hearst Avenue, I was driving at the speed limit (25 MPH) while the truck was pulling ahead, driving at least 10 MPH faster than the speed limit. This is a street that runs through the university campus and is heavily traveled by pedestrians.

George Maciel's did an excellent job with the replacement of our gutters. I had gone with the yelp reviews of the partner Maciel roofing company and it did show in the workmanship. The work was completed under license professionally and in excellent time. I am happy with our new seamless gutters and look and would highly recommend George of the Franco roofing company.
